Thread: Dreams of the future and past

I would like to talk to you about some of my dreams and the way I dream and if you can give me any insight. Now I'm 19 and as far as I can remember I've dreamed like this.

Anyways to the dreams I'm talking about. Theres been many times I would dream about things before they would happen, and this wouldn't be just simple deja vu of oh I think I've been here before. No it would most often be in a place I've never been before. One incident would be dreaming of the wall of a treatment center that had posters of the 12 steps across it. Now I had never been to a treatment center before and never been to somewhere that had the 12 steps so it wasn't deja vu. But when I walked into that treatment center I sat in the commons one day and holy shit there was that wall with the poters. Another time was knowing what the jdc center looked like before I ever went in there. Or being in the back of a cop car and remembering my dream back there...now I know these all sound like dreams of negative places, but they weren't always im just using these as examples. I also dreamed of doing one of those native smoke sessions we did at treatment before I ever even knew what one really was being white and all. It got to the point actually that I would dream about things before they happened more often than I would about normal fantasy dreams, it got to the point that I would dream of something and new sometime in the future wether it be days or week that that dream was gonna happen and play out one day, it was very crazy.

Now lets speed up a few years. For as long as these went on what happened in the dream always came true it always played out exactly as it did in the dream. Only wierd thing that started happening was that I would dream about stuff before it happend, events I had never been to or people I had never hung out with and than I would hang out with those people, but this time things would be the exact opposite of what would happen in my dream. Usually I would dream of horrible really bad things. An example is I dreamt one time this guy I never met we were driving around and than he got really mad over something and basically beat my ass, later I met him in real life and we actually had a fun time. So it was in the same method of dreaming of things before they happend just I learned to expect the opposite.

Now if you wanna know where my dreams start getting really trippy this is it. I actually started to dream about things from in the past of events that happened that I never witnessed nor did I know even happened. When I first had a dream like this I just figured it was some random dream I had and thought nothing of it. One of my dreams I dreamt that these two girls alex and payton who were my age and back when we were 10 year old, were at alex's house and payton was on a gokart and right as her mom was puling into the drive payton drove into alex's picket fence and cut her self up. Now in my dream I was standing in alex's yard in a first person view watching the whole event go down as if I was there, but I wasn't. Heres where it gets crazy at first I just passed it off as a random collection of events my mind pieced together into a dream.. that was until 3 days later when I was hanging out with alex and we got on the subject of payton and she told me that story. Talk about tripping even yourself out.

Also I've had dreams from a top down view kind of out of body expierence except for its a dream, one time I dremt I was in a room with my friends and I could see myself in it to. An I saw my friend rashane do a hand signal so a person across the room would shove this other person and than they would think that it was her and he didnt do anything. From where I was sititng I didn't know what happened, except for the fact that a week later when it happened I knew exactly what happened cause of my dream.

Well basically I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any insight or have had dreams like these so I know im not alone.

**Update** Just recently I had another dream I dreamt me and my friend were at a hockey game just watching the game from the stands on the side. I hadn't been to a game in a long time and a week later I bought tickets to the game. In my head I thought here we go again. An low and behold we sat in the same extact seats looking down at the game.
