Thread: High On The Horse

You mention you were near your high school, this is "your" familar place. You mention being on a horse, this represents strength. power and endurance. You are going back to that familar place riding on this horse with great strength and confidence. People who you hear, yet you dont see, is actually your conscience talking to you. You mention you go back to an old neighborhood, this coincides with being back in a familar place.
Light colors of the horse saddle, meaning feelings of serentity, maybe happiness. You mention your hair long and dark, maybe even flowing as you ride, representing a very good feeling about yourself. As I read this as a whole my take is that you were going back to a familar place, people or friends are around and you are showing these people that you are now in a place where you have much respect, happiness, power and endurance than ever before. But there are no people so you are really telling yourself (your conscience). You are now very much in control of "You".

I agree a lot with SassyK. I think that the fact that you were by your high school and near your old neighborhood represents something familiar, or comfortable. Or it could even represent a desire to go back to that place or that point in time in your life. Maybe even just to show the people you used to live and grow up around that you are doing okay, because of the feelings of happiness you described having. Maybe a desire to prove to people that you are okay. I think the way you look and the style of clothes you had on represents relaxation in a way. Your comfortable with how you look, your happy with it, it's reminiscent of the past. I like Sassyk's interpretation of the people talking to you being your conscience. It sort of coincides with what I said. A point you are proving to yourself, you are okay, you are in control, you can/are happy. I think the fact that you are very far from the ground could represent almost a high in itself, an extreme level of happiness, and elevated sense of being. I think its rather weird that the neighborhood was quiet and no one is around but at the same time that could mean something like you didn't need those people or didn't really need to prove anything to anybody there. (which sort of contradicts my other statement of showing people back home you are okay and happy) All in all i think it was a positive message which is always better than having a nightmare or dreaming about negative things.
