This is a very intelligent dream here...
its shows your creativity and your thought patterns, are very in depth, I would say that this has much more to do with emotions again, water represting spritual,emotional of the body..
however, it could be even that you are feeling overwhelmed and pressured by the world, you may even be faced with a hard change,radical emotional changes, though it shows you have what it takes to come out on top, and to withstand this coming.. I beleive you dreamed of something that you sence is coming into your llife...rather it be a force of change caused by the outside world or even in your imediate surroundings,
This to me is saying that you are in for a emotinal struggle, though perhaps in a way that you must make a decision to carry on what you have built or start something new...and that you will reach a state of clarity within yourself and the world around you, the old way has become obsolete, its time for a new approach to life, and a new way of life is waiting for you,it is clearly a spritual,or perhaps where your spirit (heart)is guiding you, you could even be some form of teacher/cousiler/someone who brings people together..if you have these gifts with people maybe its telling you its time to share your guidance with others for the bettermant of the human race.
I think that some dreams show us what we will bring into our lives by our decisions and by our actions...
these are just my opinions, you have to find the answer here, and Im sure you may already know it..
so Im curious how you felt when you woke from this dream?

I was quite amazed and introspective for at least 48 hours after this dream. I guess my emotions were neutral.

One thing I did not tell was that there was a follow dream right after the ark.

I think the timeframe of the dream was some number of years after the ark, but it was up to me in that dream to decide how to set up a new world govornment. I had thought to model it after the United States, or to have a Parlimentary Democracy like Canada and some of the European nations. I was trying to decide if each nation should be divided unto states and then each state send representatives to a world parliment, or to have three levels in which the state had representatives in a national Parliment and each Nation sent representatives to an International Parliment.

This dream was quite stressful, so much so that it was a wonder I didn't go lucid. Anyway I awoke stressed and undecided since I also didn't resolve the question in this dream either.

Well I would still like to hear what you came up with on this one..if your willing or to exchange that information...Im sure you have some type of idea of what it could mean...????
perhaps this is a highly impressionable dream that is guideing you to some new way of thinking that will later lead to a new way of understanding the world around you.

Genetically speaking there is only one race. I dont mean to focus on that, I'm sure you already know that all humans are traced by DNA to some woman who walked out of Africa 100k or so ago. This last part to me is not as striking but the part about an elitist group operatign to keep people sleeping even though the world is about to suffer great trial well that seems like a story we hear quite a bit now. I have no profound pronouncements just a few questions.

What did it mean to be awake? Was it only that you could see what was about to happen? Why did the rubber gloves keep people asleep?

Because I know of you a little bit I would suspect that it is apocalyptic and has to do with how you view current events and possibly even your role in them.

Perhaps you wonder about the flow of time and whether it is being guided, whether we are not all predestined for some fate and whether the days just ahead will reveal to you more of the potential of your own life.

A few thoughts my friend. It sounds alot like the type of dreams I used to have when I was getting in to Bible prophecy.

You never cease to amaze me, and here we have another brilliant dream scenerio that show endless possibilities of what the true meaning really is. I don't know I guess my interperation of the Gloves keeping people to sleep would be a more passive form of death. Your heart is kind and gentle so I wouldn't think your mind would make death very unpleasant but perhaps more of a resting/sleep state. I like the fact that the options were given to form a new Race of diversed cultures together. In a way I always thought that it should've been that way from the begining. Becuase everyone is created so differently then there is always someone for someone, or better yet you have a wide range of choices to choose from considering what features stimulates you. Great dream Seeker!

Thanks for the replies! It seems water, floods and anxiety are beginning to become dreamsigns for me lately. Another dream last night.

I feel that this dream is most likely to my growing disgust with racism and genocide that seems to be increasing and accellerating around the world.

The gloves were designed to keep people passive to that they could not fight or escape from their impending death. The thing that made such an emotional impact on me was my role in the whole thing. Shadow is right, I am a peaceful person by nature and even stops to remove turtles and frogs from the road whenever I see them. It guess it procided a small look into the minds of the types of people that could commit such genocide.

The world would be a simpler place, at least for a few hundred years if the slate could be wiped clean and we could begin again with one race, religion and so on. But the quantry is, think of the lack of diversity!

I remember reading a Piers Anthony book many years ago, set in the far future about a group of children or mixed races that escaped and tried to find Earth. http://sfbook.com/modules.php?name=News&fi...article&sid=427

Anyway, to ruin the plot for you guys. They find out that they were cloned or something in an experiment to bring back the original existing races. They were on earth and all the people were a nice tan shade with dark eyes and black hair. All of the races had finally merged into one. Apparently, somewhere along the way, humankind had lost some of it's spark as the races merged and they were trying to reclaim it.
