My boyfriend and I of about 5 months recently broke up, however, we are still on good terms. He told me of a dream I was in and I am having trouble interpreting another person's dream (which is ironic since that's exactly what I'm asking for here!) It is short and sweet and goes like this:
In his dream, we are together on the side of the road and we are attacked by a man. My ex proceeds to kill him with a metal rake. The end.
Any suggestions on what this could translate to?

Maybe that he helped the two of you overcome an problem from an external source. The fact that you are at the side of the road could mean you "lost track". You can get back on the road any time, now that the threat is gone. Furthermore, a rake is something you clean up with, make things (like a lawn) tidy. Maybe this has some reference.
Thats what I thought of, but its hard to analyze since you didn't give much info about the dream. If the man was someone your ex knows (of), then that could have further meaning.

Yeah, that's all he remembered/told me. The attacker was the "psycho guy from joe dirt." LOL!
I think abexy is over complicating it but on the right track. My thought is that you're on the road because you don't know where your relationship stands and he kills the guy because you feel as if he is still your protector.
Well it was his dream he just told me how it went. So maybe it's him feeling like he is protective of me. That makes sense.
