Repeated dream- whats its meaning?

Hello everyone,

well today I'm coming here to aid a friend. In this past week he's having almost every time he sleeps the same dream, well not the entire dream just a portion of it.

All the times he dreams, he see's himself Reloading a Gun and after that he wakes up all the times. Except two dreams, he only remembers that part of reloading a gun and waking up after and the dreams he remembers of are always unrelated to War, Guns or any of that stuff.

The first he remembers was of him being in a Library and surrounded by books, then he grabs a gun, load it and wakes up.
In the second he was flying around and a sheep appears after that he grabs a gun, load it and wakes up.

All the other dreams he can't remember except for that part. Always the same sound and the same gun and he always wakes up.

Does anyone have any suggestion of what it might mean or something?

Just a quick reply and some thoughts.

Guns represent aggression, loading a gun and then waking up could represent some pent up anger that your friend has. The fact that it wakes them up shows that this inner anger is really bothering him and that he needs to take notice of it before it gets out of control (basically before he pulls the trigger).

The two situations you gave me could be the trigger for the anger. A library can represent studying issues and a sheep social issues (issues with following the crowd). Maybe your friend needs to open up and discuss these.
