regular repeater

I keep having this same dream, have had it about 8 times now.

I'm walking through a forest following a small river upstream. after a while i reach a waterfall with steps climbing up the side. As i climb the steps i look into the waterfall and notice that all the stones that the water hits change to a vivid light purple, with UV blue spiral symbols on each. At the top of the waterfall however the scenery is much darker, the sky is dark and clear with loads of stars, but the water in a lake at the top is murky and deep. There is a wooden throne like structure on an island in the middle, and a small wooden boat at the lakes edge, when i get in the boat the weather changes, and a mist descends, as i reach the island it is vibrant and full of life. i spend what feels like a few hours on the island, and feel so happy and content, everyone i love is there. When i leave the island i find i have been there for several days, sometimes weeks, each island experience is slightly different and as i leave , everything is different outside the sky is clear blue, the mist has gone but as i descend the waterfall the purple stones are now black with silver symbols. Despite this i know i have come to understand something that was previously out of my grasp. When i wake up however i have no recollection of what my epiphany is, and dont know what it is im suposed to have learnt.

Like i said have had this dream a few times now, and dream dictionary's are really getting me no closer to understanding it.
