Evil from behind

I'm Shirley, a 46 yr old lady. Have a wonderful 16 yr old son and a boyfriend whom I adore. I work in IT and am a Systems Adminstrator; love my job. At this time in my life I do not have financial worries; I do not have family worries; and other than being a bit depressed at times from life experiences, I'm pretty much ok.

But last night I had a dream that scared me so intensley that I had to find someone that could help me in interpreting it. I came to my own conclusion but have been told by an Indian Cheif that someone else should always interpret your dreams for you to get the best and most accurate information. So if anyone could help me with this dream I would be more than grateful. I have had my share of night mares bu this dream was beyond that. This dream went into my soul and I feel it deep in my bones; as one would say. So here is the dream with as much detail as requested:

In the dream I was myself and able to feel everything being experienced but was also like a second person watching it happen to me. The first scene was me in an empty room trying with all the strength I had to keep something evil from shutting the door and having me alone in that room. I had both hands with about a 3 to 4 inch gap holding the door open and sticking my face in that gap trying to scream as hard and loud as I possibly could. In this moment I felt shear terror at what was trying to force the door closed. I had no idea why it wanted me and why this was happening. All i knew is that I wanted a way from it and WAS NOT going to let that door close. My boyfriend turned the corner and came down the hall to the door and looked at me as though he could not tell there was anything wrong. Only I could tell; and about that time I was able to scream the loudest and hardest scream I have ever made.

That scream changed the dream to being outside. It was daytime and my boyfriend and son where out there with our dogs, watching and playing with them. My son was standing and interacting with the dogs, yet I never actually turned and seen him. My boyfriend was in front of me to my right sittng in the grass with his right side to my front view. I was about 10 yards away from him. I felt these hands grab me from behind and placed them under my arms on my sides and started lifting me up in the air.
I felt the intense evil again. It lifted me about 20 feet in the air and agian I could not scream for help. I couldn't get anyone to notice what was happening to me. Since I could not scream I started clapping my hands together trying to make loud noises to get someone's attention. I tried to whistle; anything to make noises. I was so terrified and I was kicking my legs trying to get away, but it just kept lifting me.

I could look down and see my yard and my boyfriend. In this scene of the dream I was again also myself feeling and experiencing the terror, but also myself looking and watching it happen. It was intense and very evil and actually brought tears to my eyes while driving to work this morning. After the dream I went back to sleep and slept very peaceful until alarm clock went off. But this dream left a sick feeling in my stomach.

I have had many a nightmare and have been very scared by them, but this one was different; this one was terror. I had no control over this and the evil was invisible; it never took form; was always things happening without being able to see what was doing it. It was always from behind and I knew I didn't do anything to cause this or deserve this. It just wanted me.

If anyone could help in explaining this I would be more than appreciative. Thank you very much for any information.

It sounds as if you dread the loss of personal importance to your son and bf. At least, this is my first reaction to the dream. In the first part sth evel tries to isolate you in an empty space (lack of meaning) and have you trapped there. In the second one, they cannot see your attempts to attract their attention. Or perhaps you have neglected your personal needs for a long time or feel underestimated in some way?

Thank you for your input; it is appreciated. I do agree that we all at times seem to feel that our loved ones neglect us. And at times we feel alone. But the evil in this dream made no sense to me. What was it, why was it invisible, why was it always behind me and why was there evil in the first place? I didn't feel that the evil had anything to do with my son and bf while experiencing the dream. I felt the need; desperate need for help, and they just couldn't hear me and when bf was by the door, just couldn't see any evil. To tell you the truth I'm not sure why they were even in the dream because i never felt anything about them; say for instance when I was trying to get bf's attention when i was being lifted; i desperately wanted his attention to help me, but it could have been anybody sitting there that i desperately wanted help from. Was a pretty short dream but the feelings in this dream were so intense that it bothered me for a few days after. And i have to say, when i see that place in my yard that i was being lifted in to the air; i avoid it!!!!!!!! it gives me the creeps. I couldn't even walk out by myself onto the deck and have my back turned to the open air; I had to stand with my back up against something because this dream bother me so bad.

I have never dreamed of being lifted in the air before; and i don't think I have ever dreamed of something trying to lock me in with it. scary stuff though!!!
