Next dream "scheduled" for 2012

I've been having a series of dreams from the age of 5 up till now that I've thought about but didn't really pay attention to, until my friends mentioned how strange they actually are, so I'll explain them and if anyone has any views that would be great.

So far I've had 3 dreams and the next is "scheduled" for 2012, the bits in brackets after my age are where I was at that time.

Age 5 (This took place at Christmas): I had just woken up and it was Boxing Day, I went into the living room to see my family who were staring at the fireplace where a man was stood with his back to me. He then turned, approached and knelt in front of me, he said something about he needed me to help him. The man then showed me a needle he was holding in his left hand, I got scared and ran to my dad who lifted me up, my dad then held me still while this man took blood from my neck which he said he needed for blood samples, the man then used the same needle to withdraw blood from his neck and inject it into mine, the man then held me and then handed me to my mum and the man said he would return in 5 years, he then left.

Age 10 (On Holiday in Cornwall,did not know I had actually fallen asleep as I was carried back to the hotel): I was awake as my dad carried me, we were quite close to the hotel and walking on a path on the left side of the road, we had just passed underneath a tree when my mum told me to look at the bats in the sky (it was night) I did and then looked back to the path we were on the man was there, I was scared but also excited, he began telling my parents it was time for him to take me but they refused, he continued to insist I went with him, and my parents were quiet, he then reached out for me and I reached out to touch his hand, he let me touch his hand and then touched my face saying it would soon be time again, said he would be back again in 5 years then some other people walked past and he vanished, my mum then carried me the rest of the way to the hotel. (when I did later wake up my mum was putting me in bed)

Age 15 (fell asleep in my room): I was sleeping but woke up around dawn, and the man was stood in front of my bed facing me and I sat up. He told me it was almost time and then drew blood from my neck again and then took blood from his own and injected it into mine with a needle, he said he needed to test my blood again to see how it was coping with being mixed, he then told me he would see me in another 5 years when it would most likely be time and that was when I fell asleep again.

More detail about the man: He has never told me his name or who he is, I'd say he's around 6ft tall and has always dressed in black, he;s most probably mid 30s and has shoulder length black hair. I was terrified of him when I was 5 but now am perfectly fine with his presence.
Also he has appeared in quite a few of my other dreams, but normally he stays in the background almost as though he's watching over me.

I'm not sure if it's important but since the age of 7 I have been anemic on and off.

I think thats everything so it would be great if I could here what you think.

When did this last dream occur, was it recent?

It seems these strange ones happen just before Christmas or on Holiday (which we call vacation here in the US). I'm wondering what the similarities ore between all of these events? Maybe traveling, or meeting the extended family? There might be a particular family member who frightens you, and that fear sparks these dreams?

Of course they suggest the typical alien abduction scenario, but you posted in Dream Interpretation, so I'm assuming you're looking for a more prosaic meaning? I haven't really looked into the psychological commonalities behind the abduction dreams.

Here's what the Dream Moods dictionary says about dreams of abduction:

To dream of being abducted indicates that you are being manipulated by your circumstances or by someone. You lack control of your own life.

I don't think they mean specifically alien abduction, but it would still apply, and seems to fit in with the fact that these dreams happen at times when you're on vacation or visiting with relatives and your normal life is on hold for the duration.

Kidnapped By Aliens

I had a dream that my family was replaced with a group of look-alike aliens. I saw that they were aliens, and my family tried to escape them, but I realized that my brother had been left behind in the haste. I went back to get him, but we were found and kidnapped. In the dream, my family was in one car and they were chasing the car that the aliens had kidnapped us in. I pushed my brother out of the door so that he would be able to escape. Then turned into a piece of paper floating down the highway.

Your dream seems to highlight the relationship you have with your family and in particular the relationship with your brother. It sounds like you are having trouble relating and communicating with your family. You may feel that your parents are not allowing to fully express yourself and perhaps even feel "alienated" by them. They may not be prepared to let you go and venture on your own. The aliens represent unfamiliar situations and/or unexplored relationships. Do you feel neglected? You may feel that the lack of communication is restricting your own growth and self-expression as depicted by the kidnapping.

There is no doubt that you care and love your brother, but there is a barrier or wall between the two of you. The most significant and oddest part of the dream is how your brother turns into a piece of paper. Paper serves as means for expression and communication, but it is somewhat limited in that it is unemotional and on an impersonal level. Then you mention how the paper ("your brother") floats down the highway, which suggest a missed opportunity to bound with your brother and has now passed you by.

Interesting, so you should be hearing from him again after christmas? If so, ask him whats the deal with 2012, from me. If he says he will be back in another 5 years I guess we're all safe

Also, I take it hes like the vampire santa, or something? Thats cool.
