I died in a dream

This is quite heavy, so your perspectives would be highly appreciated.

In this dream, I start out at an auto hobby/repair shop that doesn't belong to anyone I know. I am there because I have no place to sleep and no shelter. Aside from my motorcycle and a few items, I have nothing. I am worried the owners of the shope will show up even though it is night time and they should not return at that time. I'm sure that due to my unfounded expectation of someone to arrive....they arrive (as dreams often follow our minds expectations whether we are conscious of our minds expectations or not). I want to just be able to be friends with this stranger as to avoid confrontation and sure enough, I am chattin' like this guy is a pal of mine. He has a truck with a trailer, and on that trailer is his bike, a blue Yamaha R1 or R6. At this point it gets a bit fuzzy and I find myself having ridden to a random cafe, presumably here in Connecticut and I order a coffee. It's now very late at night and I'm looking out the window of the cafe while drinking my coffee. I see a strange light in the sky, a shooting-star-like blurred light. I look a bit harder and to my surprise, it's an alien spacecraft of some sort. I'm now very interested and begin to see that far away, there are three more craft of a different type. I am thinking this is really cool and then I realize they are engaged in some kind of combat, lasers blasters a la Star Wars only each of these blasts is like a million atomic bombs! At this point they are still far out in space, away from Earth. Now they are getting closer, the battle more vivid. I can hear the explosions and sounds of an aerial fight involving laser cannons and am becoming alarmed. Then I grasp the fact that Earth is becoming a unintentional casualty of this alien battle and these unfathomably powerful cannons begin to strafe the earth starting at the horizon moving towards me. I can only tell where the horizon is because of the light of fire as the earth is consumed and I can only stand in disbelief as the thousands of cannon blasts, wash over this planet. As I am engulfed in total physical anhialation, the sounds of incredible chaos change instantly, as if falling from a high dive while kids are screaming, and then having the instant silence (only absolute) as you fall into the water. Total complete silence. At first I am scared because my life flashes before me, including all the things I'll never be able to do, especially saying goodbye to my wife. Then I remember my spiritial practice and how it is that I must return to that from which I came. Something can never come from nothing, so it can never return to nothing. Even when a peice of paper is "born" it has the clouds, sun and soil as parts of it's origin. If we try to make the paper into nothing, even by burning it, it will become smoke and ash, joining the air and soil. Any way, I remember being aware of only my "Awareness" or "Mind" because in my dream I believed my physical body, our whole earth and it's every life form included, to be destroyed. It was only my awareness, and space. Darkness. I was alone and afraid before realizing that myself, this "I" is an integral part of this Universe, not separate from the cosmos and all other forms of life. At that moment of realizing that thought, I felt as if I floated apart in water and joined with "no thought". I then faded into awareness that I was back in my body and now laying in bed. This was my first experience of sleep paralysis, however my sense of hearing was still nonexistent as it was from my death on. I would have been alarmed about the sleep paralysis except I'd read about it here in Dream Views.

Good! This Dream was running you through a Practice of your Death. You did very well. Say goodbye to the Body and all of the things of your separateness and individuality, and say hello to the Collective and the Cosmic.

Once I had a dream in which the Angel of God told me that not everybody would live beyond the grave be ________ will. I asked about myself and the Angel of God paused and finally decided "You too will live beyond the Grave, but remember One Thing, that birth is but an illusion and Christ is the Life in All Things".

Since then I have often wondered whether living beyond the grave is a blessing or a curse. does living beyond the grave imply the sense that individuality is retained, when it would seem the goal to be preferred would be that in which one's identity melts into that Cosmic Christ who is the life in All Things.
