      Horns and intense nosebleeds?

Last night, I dreamed that a long, ibex-like horn sprouted from the left side of my skull. Only one horn. Every time I would tug at it, my nose would start bleeding. They weren't just any nosebleeds either; there was a gratuitous amount of blood seeping from my nose. I was standing in a bathtub, and before I woke up, I was ankle-deep in my own blood and the torrent showed no signs of stopping.

I'm interested in hearing what people have to say about this, if anything at all. I have my own interpretations but I'm curious as to what others have to say

A little bit of background, in case this might have something to do with it:

Recently, I lost a friend of mine out of nowhere. We'd had a huge disagreement mid-2011, but we talked it out and everything appeared to be okay. As of maybe five days ago, she cut me out of her life without a warning, and made an incredibly nasty post about me on the internet knowing that I couldn't see it because she'd blocked me. In this post (as relayed to me by mutual friends), she wrote some of the single most heinous things I've ever read in my life. I have no idea what I did to this girl or how I personally wronged her (what had happened earlier in 2011 was a simple misunderstanding and lack of communication), and I'm not just saying that either, so I was extremely confused as to why this all happened.

I'm fairly certain this experience and the dream are related, but I want to see how somebody else might interpret it.

Hi, I'll give you two interpretations and then make an effort to interlink them together. Blood is symbolic of life. And whilst the more the better isn't imperative, it is good to maintain healthy levels of it. So when you talk about the horn making you spurt blood all over the place, it signifies a degree of unscrupulousness in that you're consciously aware of inflicting damage upon yourself, yet proceed to do so anyway. The second interpretation in regards to you and your friend who has anathematized you, this dream could be about the way in which you think your friend sees you. The parable of Cain and Abel in the bible talks about the mark which was put on Cain to signify him being cursed. You are vicariously picturing yourself in the way your friend would, who sees you and takes to you as if you're unapproachable. Suffice to say, the horn is the friendship you used to have with your friend; previously these emotions were warm, magical and carried inside of you. Now, with a drop of sourness, people are able to tell there is something which is different about you in the way you externally carry yourself, due to the wound you are constantly scratching at, where instead of getting life, you are losing it.
