Dream of my daughter coming close to death....

I had a dream and i would love to know what it means... In this dream my 7 year old daughter had fallen into a sewage drain and had fallen down pretty far. We were not even in the USA in a strange country when i went for help no one could understand what i needed right away finally i got help, the rescue team couldn't reach her and had to dig into the road and sidewalk to get to her, i was so scared in this dream like it was real. They didn't have hopes of finding her alive, thought she had already drowned. I couldn't bear to turn around as the EMS came up the sidewalk with the stretcher. I turned around frightened of what i would fine and there she was wet, full of debris in her hair and on her body but she was ALIVE!! I woke up shortly after running my fastest up my stairs to my daughters room to make sure it was not a real dream and that she was still alive! Thank God it wasn't real....I forgot to also mention the very next morning after this dream when i got to the bus stop where this same drainage ditch is that i dreamed about there were some Construction crew working on the very same drainage. Kind of wierd coincidence i think.

It sounds to me like the dream was a realization that your daughter has developed her own life with dangers and ordeals she has to go through herself that you can't help her with. You were unable to reach her, and couldn't even communicate effectively there. But she came out of it alive, so it seems you feel that she's capable of taking care of herself in this alien world where you can't lead her through anymore.

At least that's my take on it.

That is a better interpretation then what i came up with. Now when i take my 2 youngest to the bus stop i won't allow them to walk anywhere near that drainage ditch. lol i had forgotten to mention that the next morning after this dream at the same bus stop they were doing construction and guess on what?? The "Drainage" ditch.... wierd
