Vivid strange dream. please interpret!

In my dream, my roommate and I had moved into a different house we believed to be haunted, really big and old. She kept saying she saw a little boy, and we heard things in the attic. Downstairs by the hallway there was a bed, where we both sat scared to move. I look past my roommate down the hall and see a sad and scared looking little girls face peeking out of one of the doors. Just then the front door opens sunlight pours in, which is really odd considering this Fresno took place in the middle of the night, and after the door shuts we see the little boy and girl walk in and up the stairs. The little girls wearing a pale colored dress, the boy wearing knickerbockers with suspenders and a circle hat with a ball on top, 30s-50s style clothes. Again the door opens and slams shut as an older boy runs in and up the stairs. We hear yelling and the two gun shots, most likely from a shot gun. Just then two adults arrive, the older boy comes down telling them the younger siblings are dead up stairs, the parents run upstairs to see. The older boy follows and we hear 3 more gun shots. The entire time we are scared, wondering if this is real. But I can't help but think we are witnessing something that happened in the past, given the style of clothes. The house was old and rickety, almost abandons looking. And the beds were rotting. It was very vivid. Can some one please help me interpret this?

I don't know - I'm not getting a sense of anything interpretable from that one. It just sounds like a regular scary dream to me. Generally if a dream connects to something important in a person's life that will be fairly clear in the way they describe the dream. Did the house remind you of anything? How about the characters? Remind you of anybody or give you any particular feelings (other than just the way they were dressed or a sense of being scared)?
