Some help interpreting this "romantic" dream please

Ok So today my friend told me about this dream she had (yes it REALLY is a friend, not a coverup). So she was asking me about what I thought it meant, and I'm not entirely sure. So maybe you guys can help.

So before she went to bed that night, she was talking to a friend online on Skype, who she knows from another friend. He said something offensive about her looks and she simply left the call. She felt very bad about what he had said to her.

Here is the dream.
In the dream, she is in a relationship with a boy from school. In waking life she (along with many other girls) think this boy is cute. But she doesn't have REAL feelings for him. So in the dream relationship, the boy is like 20 (but still in school), so the love was taboo and had to be kept hidden.

They kiss in the dream, and he has to teach her how because it's her first. They kiss inside of closet at some point (to keep hidden?). Now they are on the same bus (which their not in waking life). They kiss before he gets off everyday (even though it's a secret). So one day before he gets off the bus and they kiss, she notices he doesn't kiss back. The next day on the bus he is sitting with another girl. (in waking life my friend feels this girl is funny and popular, and rumor has it she tried to get with this guy, and this girl got a part in the play that my friend did not). My friend looks into the eyes of the boy and feels that it's not ok anymore, and that it's over. on the bus, my friend is sitting with another girl from school (who thinks the boy is hot in waking life) and my friend says to her "I guess were done" (My friend may have been trying to make girl she is talking to jealous).

Now my friend is in Walmart with her 2 guy friends (she had talked to them after she got upset with the guy on Skype). They were buying snacks and stuff when she sees her (Ex)boyfriend with the girl again. Again she looks him in the eye and feels the despair and heartbreak. She says she was slightly in control of the dream here and kept switching the isles to try and escape the pain. And that's the end.

She says that this lasted a long time because she woke up a few times and went back into the dream. She also said the dream felt incredibly real to her.

So if anyone has any ideas on any meanings of this, it would be greatly appreciated. It obviously means something to her and has had some sort of effect on her. We don't need professional, top of the line interpretation, just some ideas would be great. Thank you!
