ignored by passerby

I can't remember much about this dream at all but it's a recurring action that keeps happening in random dreams that seem to have no relation at all. But here it goes. I had this girlfriend who affected me pretty intensely however we've been broken up for almost 2 years now. The recurring action I keep noticing though is that she is in a lot of them and almost every time, she just will walk by and not even lift her head. She never looks at me or says a word, but I can remember that the last time this happened (walking down a school hallway, what seemed like my old high school), she was walking to the left of my little brother. I can't remember if he looked up or not but I know he didn't speak. I was just hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on this because it's just started to happen more and more recently and I cannot figure out why or what it means. I'm real new to all this so anything will help. Feel free to ask me anything that might help interpret this better. Thanks! :D
