Extreme emotion etc

Hi, since this is my first post and my first time visiting this website i must apologize if I post in the wrong forum, ask the wrong questions etc.
Why i post in such a haste is that i've had a couple of disturbing dreams lately and i just feel i have to get some of them off my chest and then i found this forum.

-The Dream-
-So, I'll start with a dream i woke up from this morning, from what i remember I was hanging out with an old girlfriend of mine at her parents house (which looked nothing as i remembered her real house) and i had this extreme feeling of love, and thats pretty much everything i remember, we hanged out and did nothing.
But, the funny thing was that when i woke up this morning i still remembered (and still do) the feeling of immense love and it's like every other emotion pales in comparison.
I don't really know what to read from this dream since im not well-read on the subject but i hope one of you guys might be.

please ask if you have any questions and i'll be happy to answer them.

Sounds like wish fulfilment, but just in case- do you have feelings for her in real life or just in the dream/ after effects of it? If that isn't the case, she could represent something else that you might associate with her.

No i don't, and after i gave it some thought i realized i've had this dream a couple of times, with the same weird emotion and aftereffect.

Interesting. Maybe it isn't really the girl you're missing then, but some aspect of her. Like- if she was someone you dated in high school or something, maybe she represents that you're missing that part of your childhood. Or, maybe whatever it is that ended the relationship is happening again, but in a different situation. There could be something about her that you wish you had yourself. Is there a hobby/ interest you've abandoned that you had in common with her? Whatever she represents, it is something only you would be able to figure out, because you know her.
