Strange, but potent!

Ok so I had this amazing dream last night, I say amazing only because it was powerful emotionally, and was full of bright and wonderful colors.

Also, FYI, I am a new member, so please if there is any additional information needed, just ask and I will do my best to provide it.

So to start with this dream, I was a normal everyday human. However, my parents were not. My parents were both apes. Like Disney's Tarzan. At the start of the dream, I was young, about 3 or 4, and I too was covered in fur from head to toe, but still had human like features. My mother was a brown ape with gold eyes, my father was a black ape with crimson eyes. I had a friend who was an ape. His name was never said aloud, but if it was it was distorted. All I know was that he was like a brother to me, and we were very close. His parents were also apes. At first the dream showed us playing, having fun and enjoying ourselves. Very shortly after though, time flowed forward into my late teens to early adulthood. In this time, the jungle like home I had once known had changed completely. The world was metal, there were towers and structures all over, and electricity was the center of everything. I had lost my fur, having taken on my whole human appearance. I felt wise, but still inexperienced in life, as though there was a lot left for me to learn. I remember that I was called to a meeting of council members, all who were elders, both very strong and wise, and whose presence alone gave off an intense energy. Although I was slightly afraid of them, I was not backing down. Suddenly, the power to the entire "world" (meaning the city, but everyone referred to it as a world) had lost power, and when it came back on, it was in control of ethereal being who was completely black with red eyes. I eventually realized that this entity, whomever it was, was part of my father in the dream. I felt sorry for it, but at the same time knew that this being was not my father any longer. I was taught how to make myself ethereal in order to battle this darkness, and entered the non-physical world to attack it head on. The world was full of bright streaming colors, and consisted of shapes of only even number of sides. In the end, I had to absorb the darkness into myself in order to stop it, and then I woke up from that dream in another dream that is completely unrelated.
