      Messed up dream meaning?

Every so many months I have this dream where I'm walking down a street that looks like typical suburbia until I get in to this white bus. So it drives for a bit, until we reach this big forested park. I walk through some trails until I get to this field where there is a circle of children sitting and playing. As I walk towards them I notice they are bleeding, so I run towards them to see what's wrong and when I get to them they are sitting there smiling and peeling off their own faces with a razor. What could this mean?

Dreams sometimes don't give out meanings, sometimes dreams try and trick you in very disturbing ways. I had several ones in my lifetime, it only wants to train your mind on what's real and what's not in dream world. Also making you know that you are dreaming and it is not real.

That's quite disturbing. Not sure, what it means. Sorry.

Our subconscious can be very clever by using dramatic images to get our attention. After all, your mind knows you better than you do, and it knew what was going to creep you out the most. Made you remember, right? Made you pay attention? Yes, job well done.

Suburbia represents your present mundane life as you make your way down the street, your chosen path in life. The white bus is a vehicle that carries a number of people, so you now enter a path chosen by many, driven by someone else. This is a higher ideal, perhaps something spiritual. In fact, the destination is a park, a place of meditation, peaceful surroundings, emphasizing the spiritual dimension of the bus. Where else would a white bus go, but to heaven? Oddly enough, children don't usually represent something playful. Instead, they indicate something within yourself that is undeveloped, something requiring nurture. They can mean your desire to remain in the past rather than to grow up.

Removing the children's faces suggests they want to be anonymous, unknown, faceless (YOU want them to be anonymous, as this is your dream, after all). I assume you mean a safety razor, not the old, hinged type we imagine slashing throats, and that there is a kind of overzealous shaving of the face going on in your dream, so deep that it bleeds. This can be seen as another way of "smoothing" out the features of the faces, as a man "smooths" his face with a safety razor. This is another way of emphasizing a desire to eliminate the features and make the children anonymous. While in this spiritual place, the park, is there something you don't want others to know about your past?

I am not sure you have remembered enough of the dream to know the solution, but you seem to have revealed some issues. Recurrence of dreams suggests the issues remain unresolved over time. Remembering and recording further dreams in conjunction with dream interpretation will perhaps present a solution. (Dreams are wont to do so.) When the issues are addressed, recurring dreams usually cease or the theme develops as the dreamer develops.

Feel free to message with comments or questions, if any. Good luck and blessings.
