You were standing on the edge of the immense clearing in your mind that stretched as far as you could see. This could mean in the issue the dream is about, everything you see ahead is without anything in it. It is empty, open to anything.
The growth had died.
Your mind was clear but colourless. No sunshine, no clouds.
There was no growth, no life...just the evidence of what was once growing.
And an enormous part of yourself that used to be afloat in the middle of it.
You knew this was the Titanic...though it wasn't wrecked. So, the enomous major thing this ship represented wasn't wrecked, just stranded. {Intruiging, isn't it, to think of what the ship is.}
Your words barely need interpreting: It was just sitting there in one piece, still intact and whole, It was an old idea, worn, abandoned whether by you or the world, and in a poor state of neglect.
You knew you had to get there to explore it...though not for anything specific.
You didn't feel anything, just knew it was some issue you had to explore.
Could it be you missed your boat? Some missed opportunity?
So, you went toward it but this issue had no ground to stand on. It was going to sink you.
All the dead layer on your surface was just covering the vast expanse of your subcpnscious. (Before, you were standing on the solid ground before meeting this ship issue.) The deep swallowed you up, the area of your mind in this area was strikingly deep, though I guess calm and peaceful enough, but verging on darkness, as happens with depth. It made you feel freezing cold, emotionally.
So, stepping into the waters of this abandoned situation made you panic-stricken and terrified. You flailed helplessly... unable to save yourself.
The landscape of this riddle remained the same, as the ship went into the distance of your mind.
And you had no way to pull yourself out. You weren't overwhelmed by this situation, just stuck and frantically trying to get out.
Then you woke up, to that message, and the point as far as this issue has gone.
What is it, that makes you cry for help?
If you correlate the dream to your real experience, it should be inevitable to see. Only one thing is likely to be like that. I don't see how it can be feeling abandoned unless you abandoned something big and precious, left that behind, maybe some part of yourself. Because you have moved closer to f & f.
Fot a big part of your life that is stranded to terrify you, and make you feel abandoned, could fit with your grandfather. One might think the ship should be wrecked. But it doesn't symbolize him, but you and your reactions and feelings.
And, of course, you are investigating what happeend, just like in the dream. That's why it wasn't anything specific. Because you do not know.
*SOLVED* You made it too easy by describing your real situations!
