Thread: Heaven's Gates

Something about me: I'm 21 years old, male, from central Europe. I have a girlfriend and I'm a music student in university. I'm a very quiet person. I've always felt strongly connected to the things around me (nature/earth).
I'm posting this dream here because I felt something I had never felt before, neither in a dream nor in my real life. Yesterday when I woke up I could remember every little detail, but I forgot to write it down instantly, so now everything is a bit confused and blurred.
I am in a long corridor that is beautifully decorated, the main colour is red. There's a strong light coming from everywhere. There are other people around me, but I barely notice them, I can't recognise their faces or see what they are doing. They don't seem to be noticing my presence either. As I approach the end of the corridor, everything seems to peacefully fall apart. The other people still ignore everything. In the meantime, everything around me changes and I'm in front of a huge gate (~30m of height). In front of the gate there are two red curtains. The wind is moving them, so I can slightly see a beautiful green landscape. It looks very surreal. I know that this is the gate to Heaven, I start floating and looking forward to passing through the gates. Then, all of a sudden, before reaching the gate, I start feeling like I'm falling down, breathing becomes harder. It's like I had just jumped out of an airplane. Around me I can only see a lot of light and uncrecognisable things moving fast. I'm very scared and I feel very cold. At the same time I have a very intense feeling of pleasure and happiness, I feel safe and embraced. A few seconds later I wake up in my bed (I'm not sure if I actually wake up or if it's still part of the dream). I still feel cold and completely out of breath.
Later I'm again in a corridor. This time it's rather narrow and dark. There are unrecognisable pictures on the walls. I see a friend of mine with a strange costume. Suddenly he starts shrinking and melting. This time I'm not scared, I know this is not really possible and I realise I'm dreaming. My dream becomes lucid and I desperately try to find a way to wake up. I run out of the corridor and find myself in the house I was living 7 years ago. I go outside and again I'm in front of that gate. This time I know what will happen, so I look forward to feeling safe and embraced. Everything happens again and I wake up in my bed.
