      Dream about my child aging before me.

      I've never really had a dream that made me lie in bed and think about it for hours, even days, even months. This dream I had feels so special to me, and I don't even know why, if someone could help me interpret it, that would be great.

      Before I tell you about it, I just wanted to say that I have dreams where I'm pregnant all the time. It's either I just learnt that I'm pregnant, or I'm about to give birth. But I've never seen my child until this dream.

      The dream starts out with my in my moms bedroom, holding an infant. I knew I was dreaming, and I knew the baby was mine. I also knew that his name was Michael, and that I had just given birth. I was holding the baby in my arms, and talking to my mom on the phone. I was telling her that I knew it was a dream and how this is the first time that I've been able to see the baby, rather then just being pregnant. I then told her that we needed to go to Walmart to get a crib and a high chair. The next thing I remember was that the baby was out of my arms, and he had aged to a toddler now, and he was walking towards my moms bathroom. I got up and followed him in there, I grabbed his hand and then looked in the mirror. As soon as I looked back he was aging. I would keep turning back and forth between looking in the mirror and looking back at him. He was aging before my eyes; I saw him at the age of 10, 15, 20, 30 etc etc... As he was aging, I remember him trying to comfort me, telling me it was ok, everything will be alright and that he loves me. Then as he reached the age of 50, I looked in the mirror and saw myself as an old woman, around the age of 80. When I looked back he was walking out of the bathroom. I followed him, and he seemed to be looking for something in this bag. While he was looking through this bag, 20 dollar bills were flying out, and he grabbed them and then looked at me and said "didn't your mother tell you anything?"

      That's all the I remember, and I remember it all so vividly. I've thought about this dream so many times, and one of the obvious things it could be is if my mother had a miscarriage and this is my brother's soul reaching out to me, that's why he asks if my mother told me anything. But I know my mom, and I know she would of told me if she had a miscarriage or not... I told her about the dream, and I would expect her to tell me after that, but she didn't seem uncomfortable when I told her. I also have cysts in my uterus, so I'm thinking that it could be my unborn child reaching out to me, but if I've never had a miscarriage then I don't think that's possible since the soul hasnt been created (I guess it depends on what you believe in as well). ANOTHER theory I have is that there was a young boy in my town named Michael who was abducted around the age of 5 and there was no trace of him, he was never found. I live in a fairly small city, and for some reason I've always felt a weird connection to him and his story.

      Those are the only things I can think of. I'm willing to hear anyone out, please tell me your thoughts!!

      Here are some ideas. Hope they help. Whenever you dream of being pregnant, or of being in labor, or of giving birth - you are preparing, on a very deep level, for something unseen thats coming. For something that hasn't happened yet. It could be a move, moving out of your parents home, graduation, job change, marriage, anything that can be perceived as the "start of a new life". Whatever it is, it's part of a very long, drawn out process...for that matter, so is pregnancy, and labor is the most difficult physical challenge a woman can face IMO, and childbirth - good god, you think at one point you will die,and then by some miracle you don't. BTDT - 4 times. But the end result is a miraculous new beginning, and nothing seems the same afterward.

      Now put that into your own life. What is it that your body/mind is trying to prepare you for? My guess is, its just happened recently, but it was a long time coming. Because in your most recent dream, the baby was born this time, and it ages rapidly. That could mean that you think things are going to change in front of your eyes much faster from this point on, that time is slipping by so fast and you feel like you have no control over it. Money flying around, could be the fear of not saving enough to take care of yourself, debts piling up - or - it could be the fear of losing something that you consider to be very valuable. Like time. Time to experience the thing you most want in the world. Pregnancy dreams 9/10 of the time have nothing to do with a real pregnancy or baby. Hope that helps you figure it out.

      I just learnt that I'm pregnant = You just started growing.
      I'm about to give birth = You are about to give birth to what you developed within.
      But I've never seen my child until this dream. = You have never seen the outcome or had success til now.

      DREAM
      You knowing it was a dream may mean you knew it was a dream what you were growing in real life. It was your dream, not real yet. That seems to condradict myself, what I said above. But read on...
      As you held dearly onto this, you were thinking of your mom. So was it an idea related to her or how she is? Or you held her as role model?

      You needed a place for this newborn in you to rest and sit in you, it seems. It was a new thing to you, a new aspect of you you were not used to.
      Hence, you made it grow in a bound. It was walking by itself, had a life of its own by the looks.
      It goes to your mom again, indicating to do with her.
      You reflected on yourself, it seems you looked at the future in your mind of this new you, in your concern for the future of it, because this new part comforted you, saying it will all be okay in future, and will be a loving aspect of you or you will love your new self.

      So, next you saw perhaps literally 50 years ahead or just when you are very old.
      The bathroom means cleansing inside. So that is why he went to the bathroom.
      Now your thought of this new self left there.

      Then it seems you discover value inside, after looking, and this part of you again refers to your mother as if to say you did not learn what was important or of value.

      Oh, it's a boy just means more your male side.

      ~~~~~~~~~~~
      WHY MICHAEL
      Ahh, now we come to my question of why Michael? You dream son was called that because of what the real Michael means.
      So you feel your growth within was abducted early on, no trace of him, never found. Hence I think you did not really have this 'baby,' you just dreamt it, within. It was all in your head, fitting with the mirror and aging sequence.
      So that may strengthen the meaning of the classic last line, where the main impetus or message of the dream is. Your lesson.:
      Is it true you did not see the value of yourself, or at least the new growth within you? Hence you always lost that value, instead of finding it.
      'Did you not learn value from your mother?' seems to be that message.
      The whole new growth from start to end gravitates to your mother, though I can't quite make sense of it you should be able to.
      If you are young, it may just be natural dependence on your mom. Simple answer as that.
      That explains the weird connection you have to Michael and his story. Spooky, isn't it?? Similar to $upernatural. But true, I think.
      Now maybe you know why you think about it for hours, even days, even months. And why this dream feels so special to you.
