Bleeding Cat's Eyes
I had a very scary/creepy dream, and I'm trying to make sense of it.
I was holding my two year old cat, named Ozzy. He's a black cat with yellow eyes, and he loves to sleep in my lap. In the dream, I held him in my arms like...his body was on my legs, and his head was in my hands. I was looking into his eyes. He was very calm. Then, one of his eyes turned red. Blood started to run down his fur from his right eye. It didn't seem to bother him. He just looked at me like nothing was going on. I wasn't...freaked out, but I was trying to figure out why it was happening.
His left eye started to bleed, and then, I noticed his skin was separating from his skull. I could move it around and see blood and skull. No muscle or anything. He didn't seem bothered by any of it. He just seemed really calm. I wasn't scared or horrified, I was more curious, and I was worried about him. I woke up after that.
Some, I guess, important details about my life right now: I'm a 21 year old female. I just moved back in with my parents after a year of being on my own. I'm facing a major decision: go back to my old college, with no help from my family and minimal financial aid, live in a one room apartment with two or three other people in order to pursue the major I love OR stay home with my parents, get all the support I need, and go to a local school for something I don't care for. I am also currently sick, and my dad has also been ill recently. My mom has been going through major medical testing, and the doctors believe she may have cancer.
That's pretty much my life right now. Maybe part of that has something to do with the dream. I'm not sure.
Thank you for your time. If there's any more detail you need, let me know. Thank you.

The first thing that comes to my mind, with the bleeding eyes, is that your cat knows the pain and stress of your decisions, of what you're going through with all the illness, especially your mother. The skin being easy to pull away from the skull makes me think that your cat wishes he could help you find the answers you need, to help you make the right choice.

Always a cat in a dream is a symbol for you, as all things are.
And a pet means the closest thing or part to you, that you love and nurture.
His body was on your legs = perhaps your motion in life regarding the body of this issue.
His head in your hands or grasp = Your thought, or your grasp, of the issue the dream is about.
You were looking into this part of you, calmly.
Then you saw red, in one eye, the right eye, perhaps the correct eye. Red meaning alarm, danger, or alert or hurt like bleeding.
The part of you the cat represented wasn't bothered by this.
You were. And tried to figure out why it was happening.
His left eye started to bleed might mean the wrong, opposite right.
And you saw wrong.
It certainly would fit with that because your surface or superficial self was separating from your support.
You could move what was before fixed, and see the hurt and the separate support beneath.
Maybe you had no muscle or strength, though the skull has none anyway.
And in that alone might be a valuable message:.
There is not supposed to be any muscle in the mind. That's the purity of it. Just discernment.
Though it wasn't in the dream you thought there should be muscle, but in real life.
I may be wrong there then.
Still, this one part of you was still not bothered by this issue, this tissue, ahaha.
Got a tissue? Grab an issue. Nevermind.
But you were curious, and worried about this other side of you.
Then you woke up to that issue in yourself.
=======
MEANING
So, it seems it means you were separated from your support.
But one side of you, perhaps represented by your uncaring cat who is not bothered by anything, bless him, was not or could not give a stuff, though the closest side of you.
Quite natural, really.
Or perhaps the cat just means what you care about most could not be affected.
Does this make sense or ring true??
