Cried in a dream?! Hunger games?! what?!

So I have been dating this boy for a year and a half and we broke up 2 weeka ago. but I've been trying to mend the relationship for a week but last night I sent him a song (like we used to- a rocket to the moon) And he said to leave him alone, he has a girlfriend. I didn't reply and cried for a while. After that I acted like nothing happened. Now, in the dream it was like the second book of hunger games but not really. a guy that I loved and loved me back and we had a good time being with each other and we were deeply in love with each other. When he went inside to get his final equipment I stayed with these people that is waiting for their sons and daughters too. in the dream I realized it was like the hunger games and I knew someone was gonna die in the 2nd book but idk who but they do. so I asked them if my boyfriend was gonna die and they said yes. I saw him, ran up to him and hugged him and said "please not tonight! Please I love you" I said. he said "you're the best girlfriend I ever have baby" and then he went. in reality my ex told me I was the worse girlfriend in the world. I woke up crying and now idk what to do. please help me!!!! what's the meaning of this.

The dream starts with you remembering how it used to be and want it to be - you loved your bf and he loved you back and you had a good time together.

You were waiting for him to get equipped or ready - concerning you ~ while you waited for your loved one, him.

You knew you, or your boyfriend, in terms of the relationship, were gonna die.
So then you knew he was.
You held onto him and cried inside, "Not now in this darkness! I love you."
Him saying, "You're the best girlfriend I ever have baby," is I think you wishing or even believing it was that way, so he comes back. But he is gone at this time.

REALITY
I wonder if in reality your ex did not mean at all that you were the worse girlfriend in the world, but was a defense against the loss. Similar to him saying he has a girlfriend (he might have been thinking of you, ha). And as you were together a year and a half. You should know if it went well or not.

Anyway, I wonder if he feels the same way as you, but is being 'a man' about it, haha.
Think carefully of the cause of your breakup. Is it your fault or his? If yours you can rectify it easier.
He may be stand-offish because he blames you, as much as he wants you back and admit any wrong he did.
