Eclipse, then the moon disintegrating

I had this dream just last night that I'm having a hard time interpreting myself.

I was walking down a pathway with a female friend (I am male, and I do not know who the female was). The pathway ran along the edge of a lake. All the plantlife was green and healthy, I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and the sky was very blue. So I assume it was Summer time. As I'm walking with this girl I see a black spot out of the corner of my eye. Before I look at it I notice the rolling hills of grass and how much of a beautiful day it was. Then I look up at the sky where I saw the black spot and then the girl I was with says, "Don't worry, it's only an eclipse." So then I look away so I do not damage my eyes. Then we stop walking and as I'm turning around I say, "I know you're not suppose to look at them, but I'm going to anyway." I watched as the Moon created a shadow over the Sun, the sky grew a darker blue and my eyes were glued to the eclipse. As I was staring at it something started to change. I started to see the moon clearly in front of the sun and it was as if it was burning up and falling apart. I could see rivers of lava and ash. At this point there were pieces of it falling from the sky and I grabbed to girl I was with by her hand nd ran to shelter as fireballs as fast as bullets were falling on us. I felt a knowing, not a fear. And when I think about it now as I am awake, it makes me want to cry, not out of fear, but something else.

anyone know what this might mean?
