Dead body at bottom of pool

Hi all, I signed up to see if anyone could assist with this disturbing dream I had this morning. It was not a nightmare. There was a search for a missing person. For some reason, I was swimming with complete strangers. I came across a body at the bottom of the pool. The body was stiff. I brought it up to the surface. Everyone around continued swimming as though nothing happened. I exited the pool and started to bring the body somewhere. I left the pool area and ended up in a crowded market. Next thing I know, I woke up.
The person who was dead was a complete stranger but I remember some detail like they were young adult, male and had curly red hair (have no idea why i remember that). I guess this dream would require some context: lost my kitty of 18 years last month. Have been having trouble coping (it seems ridiculous but the cat was a special cat. a lap cat, if you will). Have been having some financial issues. Other than that, no major life events. All insight appreciated. (i do have lucid dreams on occasion, but I don't think that applies here). Sounds like an average dream to me. Our dreams can sometimes be very mysterious and crazy but that just seems to be how they work. You remember the details of the man probably because subconsciously, we remember almost every face we see, even if just briefly for a few seconds. These faces are sometimes used for dream characters. Perhaps the theme of death has something to do with the death of your cat (my condolences), but it could just be an average dream. What do you mean by having trouble coping since the cat died? Would you say you're overcome with grief about it? Or something else. Try to put it into your own words.

It means a few things to me. Maybe the fact that everybody was swimming after you found the body meant you view people as enjoying themselves too much to help out a missing person, or maybe a missing aspect of you. You may see that nobody is really paying attention to your problems as much as they need to be in your opinion. As if you announced that an aspect of you is missing, and you find its no longer alive in you, and nobody cares. That's further emphasized by being in the crowded market. Nobody really pays attention to too many people in a crowded market

Maybe part of you has gotten away with the loss of your cat, and you need some help, and aren't getting it. Everybody is too occupied with something as banal as swimming
