Dance art and music are my life! and in my dream my studio was half torn down my mirrors were gone the art different, painted walls blues and greens, a nursing chair, and a changing station. my hard wood floors slowly being replaced with carpet! but out of all the rooms in the house when i dream why my studio and grr why a nursery!! it kind of scares me

Are you affraid, that having kids would ruin your dream, perhaps?

no i want kids in the future, But it was just strange to me.... that out of all the spare rooms i had my studio was the one i chose to change and i think it could also be because i had recently had intimate encounters with my bf. and we had talked about that if we were adult enough to make the decission to have sex that if there were repercusions that we would face them together.

It seems quite obvious to me the dream was just a reflection of that conversation. Dreams often do that - they work with 'day residue' - which means they're (partly) made up of stuff that happened recently - especially if that stuff carries some importance to your inner life. It sounds like you're simply pondering what it might be like if you decide to have kids and it changes your life from one in which you have the time and leisure to persue your artistic endeavors to a much more standard Suzy Homemaker life in which you can no longer do these things.

It would be a huge mistake to think its predicting that this will definitely happen (I don't believe dremas have supernatural properties, they're just psychological and often just random). So I suspect that, even if you weren't consciously aware of it, the conversation made you inwardly ponder that possibility. It's weird that we're often completely unaware of what's going on in the subconscious - we seem to live largely in denial of it and pretend that certain thoughts never occured to us or aren't important, but the subconscious is never fooled by denial or suppression tactics (which are very effective on the conscious mind). In fact usually when somebody has a dream that they feel is important and needs interpretation it's because the dream is trying to tell them that they're denying some fact or glossing over something that's really deeply important to them. Hmmm ok, all this talk of 'denial' and 'deeply important' probably makes it sound too intense - it isn't always life or death stuff! Often it's just that inside you're pondering something that would have a big impact on your life, maybe something that you haven't consciousluy acknowledged yet, and your subconscious wants you to think about it. (And no, I don't really mean the subconscious is a separate thinking entity living inside you - it's just an easier way to say that it responds automatically to pressure created by these little denials and overlookings).

I was about to say it was a prediction dream, but you beat me to it lol.
I too had a dream of giving birth, and 3 years later i became pregnant, it's normal for women to predict their pregnancy.
      Congrats

Not sure either of those could really be called a prediction dream - midnightraine apparently was already pregnant when she dreamed about it, so was either reacting to subtle interior sensations she wasn't consciously aware of yet or just to the conversation about pregnancy (or likely both), and to dream of pregnancy and then get pregnant 3 years later sounds pretty random. No way to really call that a prediction. I mean, a lot of women dream of being pregnant and at some point in their lives many of them will be - so are they all predictive dreams?

Uless you mean predictive in the sense I mentioned, that she was already subtly aware of pregnancy or just thinking about it.

at that time i didn't want to or dream or expect to be pregnant, i wasn't into being or becoming pregnant, or plan to.

So just a random dream? I'm not into murdering people but I sometimes dream of it - so if I ever become a murderer then do those dreams become retroactively predictive?

What use is a predictive dream if you wake up not understanding that it was predicting anything and can only say at some point in the future that it was?
