      dream about hugging the other woman

      First a little bit of background on reality. My ex boyfriend cheated on me three times during our relationship with three different women, the first time was not confirmed until the second indecent of cheating occurred. Now the first woman and I are in the same art class together, we do not interact with one another but when we cross paths I get the sense that she knows that I know what happened. Now for the dream, we are both in an unknown class, sitting next to each other, and the teacher tells us all to stand and hug the person sitting next to us. So we do as we are told, we stand and hug however it is a long emotional hug during which she whispers "Thank you." I say "You're welcome" and after a pause I say "I know" and comfortingly rub her back. We sit back down and we are told to write our names on a paper and put them on a board, suddenly it's as if this woman and I are friends and she wants me to write my name with hers, I'm a little surprised she suggests that so I just write my own name but I can't write it properly, I rewrite until I've filled a page of paper and never succeed. Then I point out one of the guys in our class who recently got a haircut and say "He looks like a totally different person when he cuts his hair." and she agrees. The guy I point out is actually in a different class that I have in real life, he is usually very quite, skinny, and has long dirty blond hair, however the one time he ever spoke to me he had just gotten a haircut. In the dream he has a little more meat on his bones, his hair is cut and styled, and he is a loud out going person. Would anyone like to give me their interpretation of this dream?

      A few things stick out easily, the theme I kind of get are persona changes

      You hug the woman that hurt you, that may bea little out of character, as you kind of act nice to her in your dream, when you may be really angry at her. You have to do as your told and keep a cool but as evidenced by you not being able to write your name, you are a different person for it. So it's like maybe you feel out of character to have gotten cheated on, or forgiving him. Maybe it's telling you if you did break up with him, that staying with him would have been out of character.

      Maybe you feel you need to "do as your told" aka what the teacher said in the dream, in real life, aka forgive him. Maybe you have people telling you what to do. And with the other guy in the classroom, he looks different, aka you'll look different to folks.

      Maybe the whole not freaking out on this girl is different for you, and you feel you look weak for it. You look different, your a different person and can't even write your name, or pride.

      I have been cheated on and it's hard to see the people in real life in a setting like a classroom as I have before. It's seeing a new side of yourself and even the person that cheated on you. Its a sense of powerlessness and hurt, and you cant do anything about how people see you.

      Maybe the guy who cheated on you is a different person when he is not with you

      Edit, just saw that he's your ex boyfriend. Maybe it has more to do with pride than anything else. Shes happy after you hug her in your dream, after all you didn't chew her out in the dream. She gets a high out of it, you can't trust appearances, sometimes life says not even your own
