      Disappearing Fire Recurrence in Dreams

Lately, I have had several dreams that contain disappearing fires. These are NOT recurring dreams, since the dream itself is different every time. These happen whenever I come home from college, and sometimes while at college. They started around the same time my dad was diagnosed with cancer. My entire extended family (grandparents, cousins, siblings, etc.) is very close and we all live on the same street.

In the dreams, some part of my family home, farm, or surrounding area is on fire. The fires are always small but too numerous to count. I will run to get my family (aka everyone listed above) for help, but the fires all disappear. There are no signs that anything was ever on fire. They will tell me not to worry and leave. After they leave, I realize the fires have come back, but have moved closer to me or gotten worse. I never see the fires restart, just realized they are still burning. This will go on two or three times until I wake up terrified.

Each dream is different. In one dream, the fires reached the bushes and flowers in my front yard. After getting my family's help a third time, the fires did not reignite immediately. Just when I thought everything was over, a giant "bundle" of green lightening struck at the top of the hill, where the road is. This lightening was far away, but enormous enough to be a huge problem. I knew that meant aliens (which makes NO sense for me) and then the entire ground exploded with fire.

In last night's dream, the road and hills had disappeared, so we were living in a huge field. The fires were back, but no one else could see them. My entire family was in the field with me, trying to see the fires. There was a dark and furry monster in the field trying to chase and kill us. He ran on his back feet but was nearly hunched over to the ground. He could only chase us when the fire was gone. I was still the only one who could see the fire, because it disappeared when my family looked at it. He never killed anyone, but chased us for hours.

I am so confused, but really and truly believe this has something to do with my dad's cancer. Help?

In these dreams the common theme is the disappearing fires, and the fact your family can't see them. Fire is known as being destructive, but it is also a cleansing agent. The fact that you are the only one ho sees the fires means that you feel nobody else is suffering as much as you are, and since your dad has cancer this may be affecting you the most in real life. Like I said, fire always seems bad: it hurts to touch it. You feel that you are hurt right now because your dad is sick, and there is nothing you can do about it. However, the fire is also a cleansing agent: you may have noticed you have taken up more responsibility now that your dad isn't feeling well. At the end of this situation, you may come out of it with more knowledge and maturity. The aspect that the fire disappears means that your father's condition may flare up; one minutes he seems normal and in the other he might not be so healthy. People around you may act like nothing is wrong to spare his feelings, but this reaction affects you in real life.

I hope this has brought you insight. There may be other interpretations.

If you're willing to talk about it, How much in general does your dad weigh and what does he eat, Usually? Does he eat cooked food often? If he's deficient in raw Fruit, Vegetables, Seeds and Nuts (Eaten in that order as it allows optimum digestion without fermentation of foods) That might be effecting his cancer. Does he also get heartburn? I'm not a doctor but I've heard that changing to a raw Vegan diet can help against cancer and eating lots of Apricot Kernels is reported to help wonderfully against it. Read about the Hunzakuts, They don't get cancer in their way of life from what I've heard and it's not magical; Anyone can change to eat in similar ways to their ways.

Or that only you see the fires might mean your suffering that no one else can really see, as it's within. So you may feel so alone in that.
Maybe the fires reflect the cancer is small but too much or widespread to extinguish.
Notice that after your family leave, the fires come back, worse than before. They never really go out, just disappear from your view with the comfort of your family is probably it.

      IN ONE DREAM
They reached the bushes and flowers in your front yard might mean affecting you more consciously or up front, or maybe your public side.
Just when you thought everything was over, the giant "bundle" of green lightning stricking the hill top sounds like a flash of realisation of destruction coupled with you could grow from this - a bundle of growth like a bundle of small fires to compensate or equal them. The potential growth you can gain if you climb above it and take that road, so it won't affect you. It was conquered, in you, momentarily. But of course realistically that is almost impossible.
It was far away from you, though enormous.
And similar to what Warrior said about fire, lightning can destroy or empower much more than fire.
It struck you that it was alien, and your reality or where you stand exploded with it. It was too much now.

      LAST NIGHT'S DREAM
Now the way ahead and the rising above it or growth had disappeared in you.
      So maybe your felt empty.
You cannot get your family's support or help within you when they are not there.
Now the idea that turned alien is a monster after you, and represents the fear of the fires' return.
And the fear chased you for a long time, maybe hours or it seemed that long.

      CURE
I bet also the Hunzakuts don't have chemicals in air, food, and water. Cancer has increased 1000% since the turn or the century. 3% to 30% or more, or something like that.
And the researchers are constantly boggled by it, seeking a cure?
Probably if these diseases of the environment were cured, much of cancer might be too. Also of course, there is doubtless the sheer difference in lifestyle these more simple people have, of harmony, and much less conflict within, and not eating away at the environment.

I must say that perhaps not all of what I spoke of the Hunzakuts is quite right, Some of it may be exaggerated. However, I do believe there are lots of ways to improve one's health.
