Thread: Dreamed a man I know of was found dead in black

I would venture to say that Ed is likely just fine, and you are unlikely to be psychic.

One possible thought: we often hear / wonder about death. And maybe your mind was thinking about it out of some reason, and Ed seemed like a safe person to kill off because you don't know him well in real life so your subconscious knew you wouldn't be as traumatized if he died in your dream rather than someone closer to you, and yet maybe your subconscious wanted it to be so one you know barely rather than a complete stranger, so that you would care at least somewhat more about this death in your dream.

Was there anything that could have caused your mind to think of death in your day prior to this dream? a movie, book, the news, an anniversary of some sort of death?

The coffin being shipping pellets kind of makes sense since shipping stuff is what Ed does.

Also perhaps the dream is not so much about Ed's death but a speculation about the "death" of his career - maybe you wonder since he is a bit flakey, whether his business in shipping things will go under? And I am not suggesting that you are psychic and that Ed's business will thus go under because of your dream, but maybe you are speculating about this.

I don't think of Ed very often though I didn't remove his phone number from my contacts list of my cell phone, Perhaps in the back of my mind I think I may have need to contact him again. I've seen his name in my contacts list in the last few weeks.

Off the top of my head, No anniversaries come to mind off the top of my head that I consider significant in relation to this dream. For some reason I feel like mentioning the captain of the Titanic did die this day 101 years ago but that seems scarcely related. I didn't read much prior to sleeping that night (I haven't been reading in bed much recently) and I don't watch movies or even television much, I also don't check the news much (Though I'm starting to a bit by my Father's insistence) and we don't have cable, Satellite or what have you in mind for TV channels. If I thought of Ed prior to drifting off I don't remember it right now. I also think I dreamed this after 4 AM as I woke up around that time. I seem to be waking up a lot lately after dreams, Perhaps to remember more of them.

I have been thinking of Jesus, Life, Death and Hell much more in recent months than I previously did. If I don't pray prior to sleep, I usually get nightmares. I frequently go to church, Though I did miss a few days since I started going. And when I'm not having nightmares I may dream of seeing hell anyway, I think as a warning sign; I once dreamed of seeing seven people burning in hell on the living room television screen - I could see their guts inside their bodies. Literally the next day I was staring at the living room TV from the same angle I saw it in the dream (Or very close to it) as my Father asked me to see part of a Denzil Washington movie for a moment.

As for your interpretations, I'll have to think about them for a while. Also, The guy in the white shirt looked like a customer I occasionally saw in a Goodwill store about eight or nine years ago.
