      graphic sexually violent dream

Just a bit of a warning- This one is totally inappropriate for human viewing, let alone for younger people! Please read at your own risk!

To give a little personal background/detail- I've always been prone to night terrors/nightmares. I am 35 years old and I do tend to gravitate towards anxiety/depression.

So basically I had the most gory/disturbing dream I've ever had in my life last night (And that's really saying something)! I don't remember details of what transpired before it began and I wasn't an active participant in the dream. It was like I was both watching it happen and experiencing the terror of the person that was the victim. There isn't a nice way to say any of this but I'd really like to get some perspective on why I saw this because I feel victimized by my own brain at this point.

Basically there was a middle aged woman who appeared to be a drug addicted prostitute. She was at this really rich looking mansion outside in the front of the it. The person who purchased this prostitute appeared to be an attractive middle aged woman and her helper. There was a quiet man there who I didn't even notice until later on. It gets sketchy but the man begins performing oral sex on the prostitute. This is all being guided by the rich lady who is basically like directing the "show">. Then suddenly like in an insant the rich lady turns into an alien/reptile looking monster and begins violently shaking the old prostitute so fast I can barely see them. It happens almost in a blur like something you'd see in a horror movie.

The violence of this scene is so brutal that its hard to do it justice with words. The whole scene is like otherwordly and evil for lack of a better term. As the offender is shaking the prostitute she is loudly screaming right in to her face and it is so intense it is literally making the prostitutes face come off piece by piece. All the while the man is still performing oral sex on her. As all of this is happening she is being shaken literally in to pieces ...Pieces of the woman are flying off of her while she is basically having an orgasm... I don't feel like any further explanation is needed other than just to say that I can't get across with words how horrifying this whole thing felt. The intensity of the feelings were incredibly potent ... it was basically like sheer terror, mixed with a creepy undertone like this was a real thing happening to a real person in real time. The whole thing seemed EXTREMELY real!

I'm very concerned that dreaming something this awful means I'm actually insane. Like I need to be institutionalized or something. When I woke up I felt like I was going to throw up and my heart was pounding out of my chest like I was having a heart attack. I haven't been able to shake the images out of my mind all day long. If anyone out there has even the slightest clue what this could possibly mean I'd really appreciate an answer! thanks!

I feel for you, i am fortunate enough to of never had a dream this bad.
Just remember that dreams are totally random, just random things thrown around by your brain.
I wouldn't think too much of it unless you actually have these thoughts in real life.

Thanks for that NZ. And no - I don't have thoughts like this. That's why I was so shaken up by the dream because it was so terrifying to me. Another detail I think has something to do with it is that I woke up about 3 hours after falling alseep. I think this is one of those dreams that the brain throws at you but you never remember and I just woke up with horrible timing... Like I wasn't supposed to remember this dream.

I think that maybe your disapproval of what was happening early on in the dream maybe made the later part of the dream so much worse, basically fueling a change for even worse? For example, when you saw the rich woman directing such a scene, maybe you thought "what a monster" and that thought turned her into a monster?

      Lightbulb You are quite normal

      SANE
Don't worry about being actually insane. I don't know how many times I have read a dreamer say that. Nightmares are common, and seem out of character, because they only show your fears in all your horrible gory glory, or at worst a bad experience, not your real character.
The problem is when people take dreams literally. People kill people all the time in dreams. They shoot guns, use other weapons, maim, burn, die, you name it.
These are all symbolic for their mind and emotions, or parts of themselves.

      TWO SIDES
You were both watching it happen and experiencing it as the victim.
Part of you was observing, as we do with every experience, but in a nightmare your detachment from it can be more. You don't the fear to be real.
You feel victimized by your mind, in real life.

      + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

      DREAM
SELLING YOUR SOUL OUT OF CONTROL
The middle-aged woman represents you who is out of control and maybe you feel like you are selling yourself, or your soul you could say. You could feel that, because these fears or negativities suck out your soul, or good side.

      WANTING TO BE RICH
You want this low side of you to become rich and vast, and attractive. You had help on this side of you.
But one part of you is quiet. You didn't notice this part til later.
So your rich side starts getting intimate with your poorer side, giving it pleasure and attention, to join with it. Oral might mean your expression joined with it I suppose.
You see? It is all being guided by the rich lady - or your thought of being rich - who is directing it, to show you.
If you're a guy, it being female can mean receptive, listening, wise.

YOUR RICH SIDE TURNS ON YOU
In an instant, instead of success, your rich side turns alien and cold. Or the good idea changes opposite. Probably because of fear, or because you can't see how you can turn richer inside yourself.
It shakes the other poor old side of yourself badly. So much you can hardly see either part of you.
It becomes a blur, out of control.

      * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

THE BRUTALITY OF BEING OUT OF CONTROL
The violence in you is brutal. otherwordly and evil. I think it just means how out of control you are here.
Not that you are a violent person or have any ill thoughts. Violence is the opposite of peace and control, and ordered thinking.
Your offensive side is screaming - that means fear and loss of control - making your poorer side lose its face or expression in you.

      PAINFUL CLIMAX
This is while your more active or assertive side, hoping to be a richer person, is still trying to make your poorer self richer.
But your poor self, or the main you as you are now, is being shaken to bits.
It seems the climax of your attempt at union was losing control literally - but in a bad way, and going to pieces.
That's why it felt so horrible. Your being being taken apart.
So it is like you lived a scene in a horror movie, but within yourself. I guess this was when you were by yourself, as no one other real person appears in it.

      INTENSITY
And it was intense, and incredibly potent. So sheer terror is what you should have felt in the real experience, hence the creepy undertone like this was a real thing happening to a real person in real time.
      It was EXTREMELY real!!
So all that should help you to identify the real experience.

I never saw the quiet person reappear. But when he did, that was probably your quiet or passive side looking on.

      CONCLUSION
This wasn't that bad. I've read just as bad or worse. And probably seen worse on TV, or film, haa.
But maybe not so brutal to the core of someone.

So it was your actual experience, in your mind at least.
Does it make more sense now?

I doubt anyone can have night terrors/nightmares without day terrors/daymares in real life.
That and you tend to gravitate towards anxiety/depression is what the dream is about, in one particularly nasty episode you just had, probably the day of the dream.

      WAKE UP AT 3AM
Woking up about 3 hours after falling asleep probably happened because the experience you just had, which the dream is about, shook you to the core, and made you hyper.
That and the fact we often wake up from a dream to get the message which would have beeen turbo-charged.
So, in a sense, you were supposed to remember this dream. To learn from it ultimately.
