Thread: Unusual Dream

I am thinking that chase dreams are often caused by fear of something. And your dream may have been saying that you were afraid of something like a woman - the cultural stereotype is that women are more likely to be scared, and even if in waking life you do not believe that stereotype but your mind is aware of it and thus it is fair game for a dream to be stereotypical. Since the forms chasing you are dark, we do not know what it is you were afraid of grom this dream, perhaps even afraid of fear itself?

If this does not sound right to you, please discard. I am sure there are many other possible interpretations, and once the right one comes along, I think it will sound right to you.

Probably the chase is caused by some fear. Since I at times costume as a woman, I took the place of a woman in the dream for being scared. Though I was not a woman in the dream, the dressing like a woman for costume parties became part of my dream . It dressed me as a woman to indicate that I was afraid like a woman and put me in the clothing to reiterate that fact.

This does seem very logical.
