Hi there! New to the site. I am looking around and getting the hang of it slowly.
My name is Jenny, I'm 34.
I would like some help understanding a reoccurring dream I had as a child...and as I found out as a teenager that my father had reoccurring dreams with the same main plot.
I tried to post in it a new thread under 'Reoccurring Dreams' but it wouldn't let me for some reason.
Anyway, hope to meet you guys and hope to get some answers!

As a child to about early 20's I would have "reoccurring" dreams about/ centered about wolves. Each dream had a different location, but the content followed the same pattern. It was always like this: I would be playing or going somewhere (usually with a bunch of kids or a friend), the wolves would show up growling and panting, then would attack whoever was with me or the general public. Then it would come to where I was hiding (or standing in shock) and give me this intense look. Like I was going to be next or something. But for whatever reason it wasn't allowed to attack me. It just stared at me intensely for a minute then plodded off. Needless to say I was scared to death.
It happened all the time...
One day my Dad and I were talking and I mentioned these dreams to him and he looked taken aback. He then told me that when he was a child he would have similar dreams. The wolves and/ or wild dogs just watched him closely but never attacked him. He was scared as anyone would be with wolves on either side of him.
Is it possible for two family members having the same type dreams?
His mother remarried long after my father lived there. Her new husband's last name was Wolff. I don't think that had anything to do with it. My Dad didn't really know the guy and I've only met him twice.
For whatever reason my father and me had some kind of connection. My mom would say that she would wake up because my
Dad was talking in my sleep. Then she would hear me talking in my sleep as well and said it sounded like we were having a conversation.
When I was a preteen we even had a paranormal type experience. He awoke and saw a figure standing in the doorway to the master bathroom. At the same time, I woke up (in my room across the hall) absolutely terrified for no reason. Something wasn't good, it was something dark...I have never been that scared.
sorry this was so long...
any one have any ideas?
