can someone interpret this: very strange dream! strong feelings involved..

      This was my dream:

I am in the front yard of my childhood home. I walk across the yard and look towards the neighbors home. Their backyard has a chain fence around it, and through the fence i see a large warthog. I thought this was strange and i walked over to the front door to let my neighbors know of this animal in their yard. When they answered the door, i expressed my concern, but they had already known about the warthog and said they were trying to get rid of it, but were unable to at this time. Then i walked back toward the street, and over into my front yard. At that moment the warthog went wild..it started to look really unhealthy and hungry and started running around, into the fence, and escaped. It came running towards me, and turned into this human-like creature, very skinny, starving like, with its ribs showing, face pointed, bald except for a few long strands of hair on his head. He then jumped up on me. I tried to fight it off, but he held on to me tighter, wrapping its human arms around me. I was crying at this point, thryng to pry it off me..wrestling around with it on the ground. It then spoke. and said "Stop, please. I love you." and i was just really grossed out, and it kept saying "but i love you" "your perfect" "your so beautiful" "i love you" "i love you".. and i finally got it off me, but i was so tired i just laid there. He laid beside me, on our backs our heads were even with eachother and we looked at eachother. He said "i love you" again, and i looked into his eyes. His eyes were bright blue, beautiful. and i started to think that this creature was more than just a creature after seeing the beauty "within" so to say.. and i started to feel bad that it loved me and i was so grossed out by him..

      then i woke up.
      any thoughts??

Could your mind be suggesting to you that you reexamine your negative emotions or repulsion against something / some situation / someone / some idea?

The fact that it came to you from your neighbor's yard may be indicative that this is not something that originated within you but you got it from someone else? Maybe an issue that someone else was struggling with and now it has become your issue, but you are beginning to question whether it is an issue after all, or whether there is a positive way of looking at this situation that you had up until now viewed only in a negative sense?

Edit: Maybe you are beginning to reexamine a negative notion / bias / stereotype that came to you through external influences during your childhood, and now you wonder whether your negative attitude toward this something is justified?

You may say I'm a dreamer.

WOW> I dont know why i didnt put two and two together, but what you said makes complete sense.

Growing up I was always around my father, who had an addiction to alcohol. I hated it, and hated him for it. When I got older, I found out it was not only alcohol he had a problem with, but crack cocaine as well. I was devastated, I felt like i had no idea who this man was. Instead of feeling like he was my dad, i felt as if he was a stranger..
Turning 20, and going from bf to bf, dealing with depression and anxiety, i followed my fathers path towards drugs and alcohol, alongside mt bf of the time, who was already an addict.
Drugs took over my life, even though I hated it, I loved it at the same time. So there was a connection between my feelings of my father and my feelings towards my addiction..
In ways, both explanations you gave make sense. And I was examining my fathers actions, and now understand them, having been through similar experiences.
It helps me to better understand my father and his thought process. Although i would rather have found another way to understand =p I have been completely clean for a month now, and working on my self and my faith.
      Thank you. =)
