Eerie dream: faceless woman in white gown floating right by my bed

So it's been a long time since I've had a "nightmare", but to give you some back story, I'm 18, male, from a pretty financially well off family that is faltering a bit, and earlier that day I was experiencing very intense death anxiety. I was watching a show that featured a lady on her deathbed in the opening scenes and I immediately turned it off because I started getting intense anxiety and I started thinking about how my life is already about a quarter done with.

So anyways, I was doubting the existence of the afterlife and it was driving me nuts, so I went on that day to read extensively about NDE's and so forth. I relieved my anxiety before it was uncontrollable and I went to sleep. The details of the actual dream are very hazy, I remember being with some huge, muscular protector-like figure whom both he and I were fighting off some infestations (don't remember the actual "monster" we were fighting) and I didn't feel any anxiety or terror, it played like an action movie, and we got to a point where my battle partner told me to close my eyes in order to "fight them" or "see them", as I close my "dream "eyes, it seemed as if I opened my "real" eyes, and lo and behold, I see a faceless women with a tied up bun who seemed to be emitting the color white, in a long dress looking over me about a couple inches away, as if it was "floating" kind of. I was startled as I have never seen such a thing so I let out a very loud yell that woke up my dad, after doing so the figure disappeared, and I don't know whether I was dreaming or not when I saw her and I don't know whether or not she was exuding an ominous essence or not, it didn't seem so to be honest. I just have to remember what that battle-partner guy told me before I closed my eyes, whether it was "fight" or "see" and I honestly think it was the latter, but nonetheless I felt fear when I saw her, I know that for sure.
