I have that too, and I know some people who also have that. It's nothing to worry about it. I think it has something to do with your blood circulation. |

Long story short, when you are at rest your veins dilate and become larger. Thus making the "container" that hold blood in your body larger. When you stand up from a sitting or laying position, your veins can't compensate fast enough and your blood pressure drops. This results in lack of blood flow to your brain for a short period. The first of your senses to shut down is sight. With the part of your brain that handles light being the last. This is why it seems as though you are losing vision from the sides to a single point of light. As your veins begin to compensate and increase your blood pressure blood, oxygen and nutrients begin to flow back to your brain and your vision returns. Fighter pilots deal with this every time they go into a high G turn and they have flight suits that help compensate as well. |
