First of all, some people would say that this could have been a precognitive dream and that there is no such thing really as coincidences. Personally I used to not think that, but recently a couple of dreams of mine made me wonder whether they were precognitive in some way.
Now even if you accept the idea that this was a precognitive dream, this does not mean that it is necessarily a good idea to buy the friend's house in waking life. You need to make that decision consciously in your waking life. It is possible that some part of you got some unexplainable notion that the friend is selling the house, but even if that is the case, in my opinion the dream should not be interpretted as telling your waking mind what to do.
However, there is no proof that precog dreams are real. And a lot of people would say that your friend selling her house is just a coincidence.
If it is a coincidence, think about your thoughts about your friend: what does this friend represent to you? What do you most likely think of when you think of this friend? Houses are often interpreted by dream interpreters as representing the dreamer's mind, and other people often represent ideas that we associate with them. So let's say if your friend for example reminded you of "spontaneity" or "family values", then buying her home in your dream, could mean that you are thinking about adopting those characteristics for yourself.
