Thread: Dream about boyfriend's ex

Hello,
So here is some background info:
My boyfriend broke up with his ex about 3 and a half months ago. She lives far from where we live so he used to drive and hour and a half once or twice a week to see her, which really bothers me whenever he brings it up. I don't personally know her, I just know her name. I don't even know what she looks like. During the last week he was with her, he asked me to go the mall with him to pick out a tie for a banquet. At the time, I didn't know he even had a girlfriend. I helped him pick out a tie and the next day, he asked if he could come over to my house before the banquet and hang out. He always teased me and jokingly asked for kisses. As he was leaving, he asked for a kiss again so I gave him a kiss on the cheek. That night at the banquet, his ex ditched him and just hung out with other people. Apparently, they were already having a lot of problems in their relationship and he had broken up with her the week before but she became depressed and he felt bad so he got back together with her, but because she ditched him during the banquet he broke up with her again. The next week, he came over to my house again and as we were messing around, he kissed me. After that, we acted kind of like a couple, but we weren't actually going out. One night he asked me what I want to be to him and I answered honestly, I want to be your girlfriend. Then he told me that it's not that he doesn't want to, he just has to make sure his ex is okay before he moves on. That really hurt my feelings so I was crying a bit and he told me I'm worth it and a few days later he asked me out. His ex knows about us but she kept sending him songs about getting back together and telling him how she loves him and would do anything for him. He would ignore her and reply to her texts 5 hours later. I felt really bad for her so I told him to talk to her more. She asked him to get her a ring and he got her one and dropped it off at her house without me knowing. When I found out it really upset me and we had a long talk about it. That was the point when I stopped feeling bad for her. The next day, he told her that they shouldn't talk anymore and he told me that he did it for me because he doesn't want it to upset me. Since then, I haven't heard anything about her except when we're talking about things from the past. I used to check up on her Facebook from time to time because she had a picture of them as her profile picture and refused to change it. The last time I checked, she finally changed the picture.
Sorry about the long background, but I thought I should explain as much as possible. Now for the dream:
So last night I dreamt that I was messaging her on Skype and she asked me if we could still be friends. I told her of course we could and then my boyfriend came in the room and I tried to hide the conversation from him. When I opened it back up, she sent me a long message. I don't quite remember what it was but I think it was about how much she loves him and how sorry she is. I don't remember what happened next, but I woke up shortly after feeling really upset and worried. I'm not sure if this dream means something bad or something good.
