Very Vivid Dream I'd Like Answers To

At the beginning of my dream three of my close friends, my older brother, the girl I had a thing with and I were hanging out in a shed smoking and talking late at night. Then, two of my friends said they were going to get something. What they came back with was ecstasy. I felt uncertain about taking it because I'd done a lot of drugs this past summer and I had quit, but I took it anyway. We then decided to go for a swim in the lake outside.

Once my friends, my brother and I got outside and began to go into the water I realized the girl I had a thing with at the time was gone. It didn't bother me though because I realized that that happens sometimes in dreams, so I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't try to take control.

The water in the lake was calm and the sky was completely covered by grey clouds. My brother and I swam out further than my friends, then he stopped, but I continued on a little further. I then looked up at the sky and what seemed to be asteroids were ripping through the clouds. They left trails of red in them and I remembered thinking it looked like the clouds are bleeding. I was in awe. Then I wondered if I was just too high from the ecstasy, but realized it couldn't be that. I felt that something was wrong so I urged my brother and friends to get out of the water, and we all did.


We then walked through a short forest trail into a small neighbourhood. The first thing I noticed was there was blood smeared on the sides of every car. Then I noticed small fires scattered around on the street, in yards, and in some houses. I began to walk ahead of my brother and friends, and I noticed my ex-girlfriends car. There was blood running down the doors from the windows on the passenger side, and I felt a small sense of worry. Then I began to walk to the back of her car at a safe distance.

There was blood running down the back from the trunk, which was closed, and I felt confused because no other car had blood there. Then a dark silhouette of a human-like being jumped out of the trunk and sprayed me with some liquid. I began running and as I did my body to feel tingly and weary but I felt that if I kept running I'd be fine and wouldn't pass out. Then I did.

I awoke in a rusty cage with a floor covered in sand. Next to me was a smaller cage with what looked to be a snake made of embers. Then I heard something hit my cage, so I turned to the direction of it. There was one of the human-like beings standing there. He had a mechanical mouth and from it he said, "You're religion was wrong." but I'm not religious so I figured he was talking about humans in general.Then I woke up.
