Boyfriends dream

So I know I'm supposed to give as much detail as possible but it wasn't my dream so I don't know. My boyfriend tends to have vivid dreams very often and a lot of times I make appearances in his dreams. We've only been dating for a few months but we've been flirting with the idea of dating for over three years now. The other night I was sleeping over at his house and the next morning he told me about his dream. Apparently he went outside his bedroom to go play a video game with his roommate when he saw me in a bathtub very sick. All he said was he kept trying to get me to go back into bed with him and I kept refusing and he started getting mad. Then he just said he woke up and I was next to him in real life so he was super confused for a while... So any ideas?

There are reasons why it is generally not a good idea to post somebody else's dreams for interpretation. You found out one of them already: inability to provide detail. When in the dream he saw you sick in the bathtub, was it sick like ill or sick like drunk? Do you know what has been on your boyfriend's mind lately, what issues he is facing - both connected to you and not connected to you at all, but just what is on his mind in waking life? I am assuming he actually does have a roommate in wakin life? How do they get along, and what is the roommate's reaction to you - how do the two of you get along? Is playing video games a regular occurance in this household or rare? Are you very independent, refusing to accept your boyfriend's directions by any chance, even if it is for your own good?

At this point I am just fishing for ideas that might clarify this dream somehow. Yes, I know, I am mixing metaphors, fishing while dancing. :)

I was sick as in ill. He actually lives in a fraternity. The guy he shares a room with and my bf get along great, he does have problems with a few guys in the house but they don't love near him. Playing video games has been a recent occurrence lately. He is currently awaiting his acceptance to medical school and I am freaking out about my graduate school applications. I do come to him often with questions/worries about graduate school and he does think I'm not listening to his advice.

Ok, so my thinking is that what you say here is what this dream may be about: I think you were in trouble (maybe freaking out about grad school), and your boyfriend perceived you as not listening to him when he was trying to help you. I think that may well be what this dream is about. I would not attach too much extra meaning to the playing of video games with roommate, since that is something that happens regularly, so the dream just incorporated that, and if there are no conflicts or issues with the roommate, I suspect that his presence in this dream probably does not have deep meaning, just someone who is on your boyfriend's mind because he is around him a lot. Of course, I may be wrong about any part of this interpretation, and even if I am right, there may be other meanings, too. Best.

Confirming Joanna's view, the video games may be he feels it is like playing games or unreal, which did make him angry as it got in the way of the realationship or put him out.
I think the roomate represents that other side of him he has to do this with, instead of being 'with you.'
Also, you in a bath shows you wanting to clean yourself of what ails you a lot. [If he is going to be a doctor, it fits well he sees you as ill.]

Also, him playing the video games in reality can resonate with that.
