Another Parental Nightmare - Need Clear Interprteation PLEASE!

Hey everyone.

I've been posting alot of my dreams / nightmares lately. For those of you who've actually bothered or taken time to read my dreams and find out a little about me, you'd know that my mom is currently in Prison while my dad is dead (shot to death by a rookie police force - accidental death, he was innocent.). October 17th, 2013, will be the one year anniversary of his death, and it's sneaking up on me quick. Lately I've been having alot of dreams / nightmares, and I think that's why.

Lately, I've had a nightmare about my mom dying, etc.

So this morning I had yet another nightmare. It started off with my dad visiting me in a pleasant dream. He was giving me advice, but I started to get sad because he had to leave, and couldn't stay. Then it switched to a new scene: I was at the house with my mom (who, in my dream, was free of her charges.). Behind our house was a lake. It was around midnight or so. We were in the living room and saw a man outside with two females. I went outside and the two females were dressed in skimpy clothes. They may have been prostitutes, or he may have been raping them. I didn't know what to do at this point. I went back inside and alerted my mom, who told me "not to mess with that guy". Then all of the sudden, we look out our back window and the man is outside drowning the two women in the lake by holding them under water. My mom opens the door and tries to cause a distraction. I'm terrified, but I help her. We're trying to save these girls. Then all of the sudden, he looks at us, and tells me "I'd walk away if I were you" or something of that nature. I grab my phone and try to play him off, telling him we'll go. I call 911 and alert them, but they don't come in time. We head back into the house and he lets the girls go (i'm not sure if they're dead by drowning at this point or not.) then we run inside and lock the door. He chases after us and eventually forces his way into our house. I grab a baseball bat as he begins to charge at me... then I wake up suddenly, in a fear and breathing hard, and scared.

Not sure what to make out of this, and it's relevance to my previous nightmares about my parents and the fact that it's coming up on 1 year since my dad was killed.

Any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Do you have anyone to talk with? I think all these disturbing dreams along with your dad's death's anniversary coming up, it means you could probably use someone to talk to in real life, not just on the Internet. Someone you can trust, someone you can bear your soul to, and tell them all that is troubling you, someone who is a good listener.

I think you call 911 in this dream because you need help. The dream again is about death because death is very much on your mind. This time the death in your dream happens to strangers: it's kind of like the death in your dreams is expanding - first dreams of the death of your dad, then your mom, and now two strangers. Strangers in dreams often represents parts of our own mind. I think part of you died when your dad died, and part of you feels like dying because of all that has happened and is happening to your family. But you need to find a way to live, to live despite what happened to your parents, and as I suggested before find a way to focus on life not death.

I am not sure what the man represents. He could represent evil and injustice and death, for example. Or could be something else. Part of the dream is saying don't get involved if it is none of your business, but your dream self rightfully decides to not let the evil win. Hey, you are on the side of good, and you want to actively do something to prevent evil. Those are very good signs. :) It confirms that you care and that you want to do something about stuff you perceive as wrong, which is good.
