      Cremated arms

      Oook so I'm really sorry that I haven't remembered most of my dream but ill tell you the most important part I think have happened.

      Most of my dream was blurry and forgetful but there was this one part that was very vivid.
      In this part of the dream, I am taken to a beautiful garden scene with a nice old castle like that of what royalty would live in.
      On to the dream, the man taking me was dressed very royal, like he was royal himself.
      And he took me to a grand table, where layed many gold and silver boxes and vases and in those boxes were the partially cremated hands of every royal person that ever lived in England. He said the queen is next.
      And then he pulled out the hands which were inside big jewel incrusted gold and silver septers.
      One caught my attention which was a large septer and with a squarish or diamond shape and it was crusted with rubies and emeralds.
      I asked the man if he knew who it belonged to and he said
      "This belonged to The duchess of Atargatis".
      Or something similar.
      And I was suprised because I thaught it was a queens septer because it was the best looking one.
      Then the man sort of realised that he'd shown me it and said "I have to go!"
      Then he rushed inside and transported me to another blurry dream
      I'd like an interpretation please

      By any chance did you happen to see the post made by Amurenha last night (I think) in Rant & Rave, Cry & Complain, where she mentioned dreaming about someone making goblets or cups from petrified hands of his relatives?

      I was already thinking from just your title it seems similar, and then when you said "Atargatis or something similar" it sounds like you were trying to remember Amurenha.

      It's very common after reading someone's dream if it really makes an impression in some way to dream something very similar yourself.

      You're welcome. And by the way - this is the coolest line I've read in a long time:

      "Then he rushed inside and transported me to another blurry dream"

      Seeking your rich commanding Self

      Sorry Bunni, but I think you may have made a false connection, false memory, because Amurenha's dream was so strikingly similar.
      Atargatis is the “Syrian Goddess” So it is a real name, if you initially recalled it right. In one hand she holds a scepter.
      Atargatis, the "Syrian Goddess" by Johanna Stuckey
      Primarily she was a goddess of fertility.
      She is also known as Derketo in Greek mythology and is thought to have been the inspiration for the worship of the Greek goddess Aphrodite, Goddess of Love.

      Atargatis, the Phoenician Great Goddess--Dea Syria Derketo Derceto mermaid goddess fish goddess water goddess canaanite goddess syrian goddess
      Atargatis is a Goddess of Syrian origin whose worship spread to Greece and Rome (and further). She is a Great Mother and Fertility Goddess of the Earth and Water, considered the main Goddess worshipped in Syria. Doves and fish are sacred to Her: doves as an emblem of the Love-Goddess, and fish as symbolic of the fertility and life of the waters.

      So she seems close to the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.

      Amurenha's DREAM:
      Someone making goblets or cups from petrified hands of his relatives.
      Perhaps a relative part of him was petrified, frozen or not moving, and wanted to gain nourishment instead from that. Or make good come from a stagnant experience. Something like that.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      YOUR DREAM
      In your mind you were taken to your inner beautiful garden, and toward your royal or in charge, superior quality self.
      The treasure or value of this grand concept before you was apparently partly burnt or destroyed in your handling or ability of it in the past, in every leading part of you that had attempted to work up to become the queen or ultimate ruler of yourself.
      And I think you saw that queen part of you was next. Your highest royal or noble, or ruling self, which you needed your male or active strong side to help with.
      Then he pulled the hands of the queen out, from the symbol of the ruling monarch a sceptre (or scepter) is, adorned with its richness.
      But the one which caught your attention was even richer. You asked your strong self who it belonged to, which said:
      This belonged to the part of you, below the queen, that was fertile, was love. It caught your attention maybe because you had to start there, it was the best one now at this stage. Unless it meant not to want the best or top or in control so much, because humility might be more fertile.
      As you were suprised it wasn't that top queen part of you, because it was the best looking one. Maybe like with everything else, you have to work up to it. Be fertile where you are at now, and I guess have the right reason.
      Then your masculine side realised it had shown you this and so left.
      Cremated arms are ashes; They can't hold anything and give no hugs.
