boss problems

I had a weird dream with a lot of symbolism, I think. I can't pull it together though. I think I get it. But I might be jumping to conclusions since the symbols each have a few meanings...

My boss is talking to a colleague. He's giving her interesting work I'd want to be doing. I'm lying on a bed just kind of relaxing. They are standing at the end of the bed. He climbs into bed while talking to her. He's lying on it up to my waist. He's still casually talking and puts his hand around my ankle. Then my heel. Then my arch. It starts making me uncomfortable as he moves around my foot. Also, he isn't talking to me about this interesting work. Then he tells me he's going to take me somewhere. Presumably for training into the position I want. I've been on business trips with him before. He says it by telling me there are going to be a lot of hotel rooms and free dinners ahead for me.

Is this what I think it is? He's acted weird around me lately. Maybe it's just my subconscious jumping to conclusions.

I believe in interpreting dreams. I also believe that dreams do not usually tell you anything that is not already on your mind. I furthermore believe that dreams often are not straightforward, and thus if we dream of something it is often not literal but symbolic.

That said, if you think in waking life that your boss has acted weird around you. And then you dream about your boss acting weird around you. I would say that the meaning of the dream is that you think your boss is acting weird around you. I am not sure that it necessarily means anything more than that. But then again it could.
