Plane crashes, four forgotten children and feelings of undescribable happiness

This is a story of my dream from last night, i'm writing in here partially for an interpretation and partially because i just want a way to help remember the happiness and feelings of love i had from this dream.

First i'll start off with a description of my life at the moment:
19 Year old male
College student
Live at home with 3 brothers and my parents
One thing that may be playing a part in this dream is the fact that i recently got arrested due to my association with a few individuals, and although it is mostly resolved it could possibly be a factor. I'm content with what came as a result, but it is definitely still on my mind.

Another thing that i guess i should mention is that i remember the dream i had before this one(the same night) - i also want to mention that this was not a nightmare. From what i can remember, i was living in the U.S. and going to school right across the border in England(makes perfect geographical sense right?). Anyway, i went to my college one day, and after some class i was outside and saw a plane crash and make a huge explosion (for the record, planes crashing is a recurring theme in my dreams throughout the years - it happens all the time for me). This was the start of a huge military/war/attack. From there i ran to another building and bombs were falling all around me, but i kept escaping every time. At some point i was able to run-off into the woods and hide until the bombs were gone. I then came out of the woods to a building i had previously escaped from and everything was destroyed. My parents were there and were so glad i was safe. That's all i remember from that one.

The main dream starts off with me being in my room with four kids all 4 years old - two girls and two boys (quadruplets). I don't remember ever actually being told so, as the dream began in the middle of the event, but my parents were telling me that these were my kids. I remember feeling hatred and extreme sadness towards my parents for keeping my children away from me and the fact that i didn't remember that i had four kids. They said that they had kept them in an apartment secretly, and away from me for all these years. They said the reason they kept them away from me was because i needed to focus on my important things than my children, but i didn't still didn't understand why i didn't remember i had children (i had known when they were born apparently). At some point, while crying, i said, "Why would you do this?" to my parents in regards to keeping my children away from me, and my mom just looked at me with a look that told me that she was sad and knew she had done wrong.

When it started to sink in that these were my children i felt this overwhelming feeling of joy and happiness and love, and its a feeling that i have never felt - or never felt so strongly - in my waking life. It was truly the best feeling i have ever felt. I remember just hugging my children and playing with them and talking to them and i just felt so happy. Then, i ended up at a baseball game with the two boys and we were just watching baseball and talking(i don't remember much dialog from the dream), and this feeling of happiness was still there.

Throughout the dream there was the thought on my mind of why i didn't remember my own children, and how much i have missed out on. At times this thought would become a distraction to that overwhelming happiness i mentioned earlier.

Also, I don't know when i found this information out in the chronological order of things but i remember being told that the children were born four years ago(which makes sense because they are four), and that they were born in 2007(which doesn't make sense because that was 6 years ago).

As far as the mother of the children goes, what i remember is that i had met her on a television game show(weird), and i also remember that she was very beautiful. She was not present in the dream, and this is all the information i have regarding her.

If you got this far i appreciate you reading my dream and hope that you'll give me a little feedback on what could be going on here, i think i have an idea but it's hard to say. I guess if you've gotten this far, even though you've already done so much by reading that novel-length description of a dream, maybe you could help me with one more thing?

As i had said earlier, the most recurring theme of dreams i have is planes crashing. I want to mention that these are not ever nightmares - even the ones where i die/my loved ones die. It happens in my dreams all the time. I'm not afraid of flying planes at all, i actually love flying and i have done it many times. Every time i have ever taken a flight in my life it has been for a vacation - or something positive and exciting. I just cannot figure out why i always have these dreams with planes. I have dreams where i die in plane crashes over and over again, i've had dreams where i save people from plane crashes, i've had dreams where plane crashes kill my loved ones, dreams where planes crash but there's nobody to save, dreams where planes crash off in the distance,etc. It's so recurring yet i have no idea what it means, if you could give me your opinion i would be very happy and interested to read it.

Plane crashes - it could simply be that the first one was random and maybe you woke up and puzzled over it enough that you effectively 'set it in your mind' and it then became recurring. Or there could be more to it. It sounds like you've flown on planes before? You should think about what those flights meant to you - was one of them or many of them or all of them for an important purpose? Who do you fly to see? Does the place you fly to or the fact that you fly there have any symbolic significance in your life?

4 children - the number 4 might have some significance since it kept repeating. Think about what significance it might have to you. 4 years of college maybe? 4 different ways you could take your future life? Or possibly the number 4 just got stuck in your head from a movie you watched or something - this often happens in dreams, as they're made up largely of 'day residue' stitched together with any important emotional stuff you're dealing with at the time.

Children often represent ideas, plans or potentials you have that need to be nurtured and raised so they can come to maturity. Seems pretty clear cut to me - at a point when you're in college and looking at starting your new life as an independent adult.Your parents handled the responsibilities for your life until now, but they're going to be handing them over to you soon.

Thank you for replying! I really do appreciate it, it's always interesting to hear what other people have to say. I think in regards to the planes crashing it is possible that it is just a medium for other messages. My father works for the airlines so i have flown free all my life - thus i have flown on planes many times. So it could just be something i am familiar with in my life and it manifests as the medium for other messages in my dreams since it is something i do in my life quite often and it is something i enjoy.

Regarding the other dream, I, as with most people, always want dreams to mean more than something as simple as that, but i think that it is a definite possibility that it could just be a manifestation of my thoughts about college and where my life is headed, but, i did watch a movie before going to bed (Life of Pi - it's okay if you haven't seen it), and in the movie i remember counting how many animals were on the boat and the number was 4. I would think that possibly the year, 2007, may have some significance, but i can't think of anything that happened in 2007 in my life that could be related. Also, maybe the fact that i didn't remember that i had 4 children could mean that i had forgotten about some of my own ideas, plans or potentials. And maybe the fact that when i remembered about the children, and i felt that feeling of extreme happiness, is my inner self saying that when i remember these ideas, plans and potentials that i have i will be very happy.

At first I thought that the plane crashes might mean that your life is a bunch if ups and downs: you soar emotionally/mentally/creatively and then you crash from that down to earth.

However, I think the fact that your father works for the airlines may be significant. The plane crashes may be an act of rebellion? Your upbringing at war with your desire for independence?

Your children were born when you were either 15 or even 13. At the start or during your teenage years. I think those children of yours are indeed your ideas: your ideas of what makes you independent and unique, unlike your parents, what makes your grown up you, the building blocks for what will make you a man. You need to figure out in waking life what it is that truly brings you that joy, what your calling is, what you would love to do with your life, what will allow you to grow in new ways.

DREAM 1:
THE CRASH OF YOUR PAST
Going to school right across the border in England can mean to learn or confirm the proper way to be after your bad associations. And this was right next door to you, of course, in you.
So this plane crash you learned from is what took off and crashed, making huge destruction, that started a war in you - perhaps the battle between your two sides - which you eventually escaped safely from, got clear of.

DREAM 2:
RESURRECTING YOURSELF
I think the two boys are you assertive or male side - which are two for your dual nature you may be more aware of now. The right way or the wrong way.
The girls your opposite receptive, nurturing side, also dependent on your two sides.

GROWTH LOSS
Your "extreme sadness towards my parents for keeping my children" sounds like your parents stopping your development which may be unavoidable at 19 with you living with them.
And "the reason they kept them away from me was because I needed to focus on more important things than my children" or your own growing ideas.
But I think it is your getting back on the right path, which made you very happy. Because it was after your first going off-track dream which hurt you.
So maybe you had to realize the important things in life, again, before you can have this nice growth that nurtures you.

SADNESS AT FORGETTING FOUR YEARS
Was it 4 years, or since you were 15, you were without this growth? Or does it mean you have been growing for that long but suddenly seemed to chuck it all away with that bad episode. So you reuniting with it now seems the first time and like you had lost all that growth.
So you felt such hatred you missed it, didn't know you had it, forgot it, but you knew when it was born.
And that's why you were sad. You knew you had done wrong, and of course you could have reflected on how this affected your parents too, as well as in you how you were brought up to know better.

BECOMING YOU AGAIN IN JOY AND HAPPINESS
So when the good sunk in again, who you really were, so did the joy, happiness, and love.
You never felt before the feeling of regaining what you lost, so never before felt it so strongly.
So you got to know your good self again, like it was new. Renewed.
You saw again how to play in a team with others, opposite the bad people before.

Throughout, you realized that when you didn't remember what has grown in you, you miss out on so much, which will take away happiness. So your happiness is in remembering this.

BORN FOUR YEARS AGO IN 2007
Maybe for two years you didn't grow?
In 2007, when you were 13 is just coming into puberty starting to become individual. So though it started then, you may not have become conscious of it or active in it til two years later.

HOW YOU MET THEIR MOTHER
You met the other side of yourself, that gave this growth, in your vision, maybe playing games or in the midst of that this seriousness comes out, or maybe it was like a game or when you had fun or were not so serious. But this other side was very beautiful, like what came from your union with it.

RECURRING PLANE CRASHES
The most recurring theme of your dreams of planes crashing, where you die, or your loved ones die, means your dreams of your relationships with them that you want to take off and fly, yet they crash. Sometimes it kills you, sometimes it kills the other or relationship or in your view, for a time anyway.
So when you save people from plane crashes, you save you or them from the destruction. Sometimes you can't.
Other times your dreams or flights are distant, where they come crashing down.

That's what I see anyway. Maybe some is not on track, doesn't fly, and comes crashing down.
