Thread: Picking Flowers

Awesome! super complex feelings.

I don't know exactly how to interpret it, what do flowers mean to you, how do they make you feel? Especially those flowers, is it the same emotionless feeling?
The way that you describe the dream almost has a tone of mourning, or sadness.

They didn't make me feel anything. It was all rather emotionless. It does seem a bit like a mourning dream, if only I knew where I was taking then... Strange though, I have nothing to mourn.

Ok! I think I can say what it would mean to me, if I was having that dream and I had the same feelings that you were having. My own interpretation is filtered through my experiences and my thoughts, so I couldn't quite say what it means to you. I have this theory about dream interpretation, I believe that it's kind of like gaining a little bit of insight into how we know we already feel about something unconsciously, but for whatever reason it's difficult for us to consciously see. I think that how YOU interpret dreams is going to give you a little bit more insight into a deeper aspect of yourself that you are not otherwise acknowledging for one reason or another.

The footpath crossroad would symbolize that I have a life-altering choice in front of me right now. I still haven't decided which path I'm going to take, but I am indifferent to all of the paths laid before me. The tone of mourning would signify the ending of my old way of life, the mourning of my past. I'm still not sure what those flowers are all about - Maybe they are part of my own personal funeral for my previous self, or maybe they are something from my past that I am going to bring with me down whichever path I choose. The emotionless state is pretty weird, maybe I feel that way because I feel as though I am just going through the motions, floating along. Maybe I don't really have any interest in what is happening or in the path that I'm going down because it is not what I am choosing, but I feel like I don't have any choice but to pick one of these paths.

What would it mean to you if it were your dream?

i have a similar dream where i find change on the ground and start picking it up. then there is just too much to grab. in real life i often pick up rubbish like bottle tops, wires, small metal objects. i call them 'charms'. do you gather flowers or similar when you're awake?

In your possible paths you see dense growth, but not alive, in you.
It's frozen cold where you walk. Yet, like a desert, the barren is beautiful - it's emptiness fills you.

So maybe you are picking what can blossom, or what beauty you can see, from this.
Because you are picking the final result from where there is not even any beginning growth - where nothing can grow.
The emotion is dull, in this situation or crossroads you walk. So it's possibly personal, unlike if in a car.

You don't know where you are going.
You have your hands full, which sounds like too much to handle and can connect to your dense growth yet where nothing can grow - or maybe more than you need, as you pass by what looks like your potential happiness.

CONCLUSION
So maybe you were thinking too much about the result, perhaps trying to put colour or emotion into your life, and peace, missing the way to get there, similar to waxi's dream.

Superman that's an awesome interpretation, it really means a lot when I think about it. I can actually relate to a lot of your ideas.
