*Doesn't look like lucid dream, so I'm moving it ot Dream Interpretation. |

I usually have very complex dreams, but this one was short. It left me with a happy/sad feeling though. In real life, we have a long-distance relationship and a few weeks ago, he said it was too much for him and broke up. But then we started texting a bit and at midnight on New Year's Eve, he texted me Happy New Year and we exchanged a few texts. I had a dream last night that I went to see a band (he is very much into music and right after we broke up he went to see a band where we were supposed to go together, but did not take me) and when I looked, the drummer who was kind of hiding in the back looked familiar. I tried hard to see his face, but he had a bushy beard, looked a little sad, and there was something about him that looked familiar. It was my ex (he does not have a beard in real life). That is pretty much it, but I have not had dreams about him in a long time, although I have been thinking about him a lot. It's funny that I know when he texts me, and if because of the time difference, he texts me at night, I wake up right away (phone is off). |

I don't really think this dream is all that hard to understand. You want to see him, so you see him in your dreams. |

Yes, as I said, it really was not a very complex dream compared to others I have, but that look on his face was very confused and almost warm, and he wasn't looking directly at me. It still haunts me now that I woke up and I almost felt he wanted to say something to me, but, instead, was hiding and playing his drums. And good observation, reality is certainly very different and in this case; the guy I wrote with for months was definitely not that easy going and sweet in real life. Thanks! |
