      Tigers eating humans and tigers.

Hello there! I am a 26 year old single man. I am a software engineer, and am going through a tough time at the moment.

Last night, I had the weirdest dream. I saw a man hanging from an edge holding the hands of a woman trying to pull her upwards and save her. The woman was also hanging trying to hold on to the hands of the man. I remember that the man had a suit on. Not sure what the woman was wearing. It might have been a wedding dress, but I'm not sure.

On the ground there was a tiger jumping up and down trying to get the woman. In one big jump, the tiger jumped up and bit one whole leg of the woman. Then, the tiger jumped again, and got the other leg of the woman. At that moment, I felt like, now the woman should be lighter, and the man can at least save her. But no, the man fell to the ground, and then the woman fell to the ground right after that (I know, according to the rule of the physics, the woman should hit the ground first, but it was like that in my dream).

When this happened, the tiger attacked both of them to kill. Then, another bigger tiger showed up, and attacked the first tiger and the humans. At this point, I knew that the humans were dead. Then, one gigantic tiger appeared. Its mouth was as big as the two tigers and the humans all together. The big tiger ate everything in one bite. At that moment, I was like holy shit, this is over now. I don't remember anything after that.

This dream is definitely my weirdest dream ever, and I don't know what to make of it. Would thoroughly appreciate it if someone could help me understand it. Please let me know if you have any questions.

      Thank you!

Oh wow that's a doozy! I found this dream very interesting I have had many dreams where tigers eat me and recently had similar experience, sort off Anyways tigers are wild animals that are strong, they might represent uncontrollable actions or desires you may have( maybe you feel out of control with some aspect if your life). You say you are single, do you want a relationship? Did you just get out if one? Do you feel like you might not have one? Cause it's like the tiger is killing your chance if having one( by eating the married couple). The next situation reminded me so much of a dream I had recently where sharks went through a sequence of eating each other just like that. Honestly I am not sure on this but maybe it's like the out of control feeling is growing and growing. It's like it won't stop growing until you resolve the personal conflicts in your life I guess. How do you feel about your chosen career path?

Thank you for answering I mentioned that I am going through a tough time. This is both in my personal time, and in my career.

My personal life is very complicated. There is a woman that I desire. She is living in another country right now. She does not have the same feeling that I have for her, but honestly, I don't know how she feels. I have been chasing her for so many years. We have been on and off, but I have not seen her for three years. We talk to each other every day, and I want to plan a trip to go and see her, and try to get her to love me as much as I love her.

There is also another girl in my life. She says she loves me, but I am not sure about how she feels. I also have feelings for her, but definitely not in love. She wants to get close to me, but I have chased her away until I resolve my relationship with the first girl. We still talk as friends maybe once a week.

In my career, I lost a job a while back. The company was having problems, and they put so much pressure on us. I would work 12 hours a day, and even work on the weekends during the last two months of working there trying to save my job, but unfortunately it happened and there was nothing I could do about it. I am going to start a new job next month. Although the salary is much better compared to my old job, I can't say I really like taking the new job. I have to move to a small city in the middle of nowhere where I don't know anybody, and my biggest fear is not being able to find good friends there and feeling lonely. I need the money, and I had no choice, but to take their offer.

Sorry to give you a headache with my problems I appreciate you helping me understand my dream.

The man and woman in the dream. Do you know them in real life?

Good. So far, since you are a software engineer, I assume you do some sort of programming. This reminds me of the Basic language and the use of loops then.

What I can see in your dream is that there is something that is happening and you are saying to yourself that it is logical for that thing to happen, though you may not be happy with what is going on. Weak humans are bitten by a small tiger then the small tiger and the weak humans are eaten by the biggest tiger.

Tiger represents something that is happening (an external force)
Man and woman= they are not important per se, but their plight represents your vulnerability
Tiger eating the other people = it represents the logical part of your brain.

I have placed my interpretation intentionally before reading your background about your emotional life and job problems. I did not want the interpretation to be affected.

Now, I have read it. I can confirm my interpretation but add one small thing: The dream (or your psyche) is telling you that there are matters in life where your logic does not work. Sometimes, you need to allow your heart to judge.

      Good luck.

Thanks a lot for giving me your interpretation I would have never thought that this would be sth logical, but the way you put it together, it makes sense.

I would go with mar2000 interpretation to be honest. I don't know very much about what you are going through but I sure hope everything works out in the end. By the way I am sure you will make friends at your new job, and moving can be exciting! Again I hope all goes well

About the job, here is something interesting.

A friend of mine had a dream that they told her she was dying. She died but nothing changed in her life in the dream. She was careless that she died.

In interpreted it to her that she was contemplating moving to another job. She said she did indeed resign and move to another job but has fears that the other job may not give her the friendship atmosphere that she was afforded in the job she had before.

I just hope that my job situation would never go to an infinite loop of stress and loneliness. That would totally suck. Again, thanks for taking the time to help me.

People who are stressed and lonely at work are the most dedicated. You feel stress because they rely on you as the one who can solve all problems. You become lonely because nobody works as you do. Sometimes, you need to take it easy. Smile and begin your day with a smile (not a big one). Then share people at works with anything that makes you smile. It could be simple but empowering. When you succeed in making people around you smile, you have done a great job.

      Good luck.
