Thread: Dreams related to death (suicide, stabbing)

Hello,

I thought I took care and analyzed the dream I had last year that seemed extremely real and ended up with me waking up all tensed and sweaty, reassuring myself it's just a dream. This dream is:

My friend that I like (and still do) tried committing suicide in a public mall. He was hanging onto a ledge. There was obviously a large group of people that is surrounding him and his two friends are trying to dissuade him from jumping off the ledge. At this time, I didn't know what the whole fuss was about so I continued shoving random people until I saw the cause of the commotion. This was when I found out it was my friend ... As soon as I saw him, (he didn't see me this whole time btw)he jumped off the ledge. But thankfully, the police on the bottom floor caught him and he lived. Then I woke up

I researched about suicidal dreams and death, and concluded that I dreamed this because I was very scared of losing him.

Then last night, the same thing kinda happened... Only that this time is even more graphic and memorable. After I opened up to him last week in real life, my dream had me and him in a typical romantic scene, etc. Then it all went downhill. I forgot the transition but I was walking by myself, looking for him. Then I heard from a stranger that someone got stabbed and is bleeding to death. I wasn't worried at all because I thought it's not him... And then I found him standing up, with things on him that looked like red wires at first. I ran up to him and asked him what those wires are for, then I realized they weren't wires and they were blood. He then collapsed onto the ground and I was so powerless to help him. There were a couple strangers watching us and him bleeding to death but THEY WEREN'T DOING ANYTHING! I was begging for help and crying, begging other people to help him and the thing was, the emotions felt so real. Then I woke up, thanking god it was just a dream.

I know dreams are all figurative so i know there's no actual death that's going to happen in real life... Death in dreams can be a good thing, that's what I heard. But these two dreams seemed connected to each other and felt like nightmares, esp the last one. Anyone help me with this? Thanks

I think the key points in both dreams are that he didn't actually die. The first one ended up with him being saved, and the next one was just him bleeding to death, but not to the point where I saw him die.
