Weird dream about death

Hi,

So occasionaly I have very strong but strange dreams, often negative. This dream was a long one, I can remember something about being in this giant obsticle course around a super market and there being some guy who wanted to kiss me but then the dream changed and we were going camping, I was with my best friend and some family. Then some trouble started (I can't remeber what) and me and the guy who was trying to kiss me needed to get guns. He managed to find us some guns but we didn't end up needed them as the scary people went away. Next thing I remember was going home but I still had the gun tucked down the back of my pants and was tring to get rid of it. I didn't know what to do with it and I was scared I would get caught. Eventually walking home I bumped into my best friend and I took her to the side (she was with some other people that I can't remember) and I was telling her about the gun. The next thing some man comes behind my best friend and shoots her in the head. I quickly got out my gun and tried to shoot the man but it didn't work and he said it was just a spud gun (potato gun) then shot me in the throat. Me and my best friend are lying there on the pavement looking at eachother dying, we both tell eachother we love eachother then I, with a lot of effort, reach my hand out to hers and we lying together dying holding hands. I remember feeling happy we were together but closing my eyes and hoping I would die soon. Then I woke.

I am 24 and have been travelling away from home for 2 and a half years with little contact from my family and friends. I came home 1 week ago to have an interview to start a 3 year nursing degree (interview is in a month). I have a boyfriend, who lives in another country (I have been traveling with him and left him to come home last week).

If you could make any sense of this that wouuld be great, I'm not sure whether the first part is relavent at all, but it really made me feel odd.
