I have many weird dreams, but this didn't really classify as the usual weird. I don't think I've ever had one like it.

First a bit about me: I'm a female 19 year old college student, majoring in Sequential Art (storyboarding for animation or writing/drawing comics). I don't make superhero stuff. My comics are more like manga. All my stories have a romantic sub-plot, but that's not the main storyline. I mostly write fantasies. I have both my mother and father. They fight but most parents do... I think. I have several brothers and sisters, but I've never lived with them, and I only know/met one. He's the youngest, but he's still 20-30 years older than me. Also, my college is in a historic district, so I'm around lots of preserved buildings for about 7 months out of the year. I just finished my first year of college a couple weeks ago.

The water holds a small part, but it seems that most important. Ok here's the dream:

I was walking down a sidewalk at what I assume to be an amusement park (though there were no rides; just lots of historic looking buildings packed together in a way that said amusement park). The houses weren't packed together like a neighborhood. They were either conjoined (hotels and restaurants in my dream), or they took up their own block with a road on each side of the building (guessing they were fun houses or stores). There was one building that made me think of Cinderella’s castle, since it was light powder blue, but it had the characteristics of a gothic church (which I just learned all about in art history last quarter).

It was at night, and I was walking with a group of people. I'm not sure who they were. I knew them in my dream, but the one face I remember... I don't know her. She was one of the many people who kept calling out to me as my friends and I walked around. I think I was showing them around like I knew the place. (this is strange because I am a very shy person. I barely have any friends, which is my choice as I don't want a group of people that don't really care for me. The thing is, I do have acquaintances that will wave and say hi to me now. It just feels weird that lots of people notice me now)

The place was lit up with street lights, and glittering lights. It truly felt magical.

Another detail. We are walking down a straight sidewalk (I think we're on the edge of the park now). To my right are just restaurants and hotels. To my left, there is a street that leads farther into the park, and straight ahead leads to the water.

I don't know what happened to the others, but I was suddenly alone and at the edge of the water. The strange thing is that the road never stopped. The water is just covering it. The water is beautiful is its own way. The lights from the park behind me sparkled reflected off the pitch black water.
(Now, I LOVE water to the point that it's weird. If my friends and I pass by a small pond on a road trip, they'll turn to me and say "Look! Water~!" I love water and the moon more than anything) -Now that I think of it, I don't remember if the moon was out. I have a hazy memory that makes me think it was, but I didn't see its reflection in on the surface of the water-
This water, though, made me feel scared or maybe anxious? I didn't want to even touch the surface. I don't know why. I just felt a sense of danger.

Suddenly, I was with everyone again (again, I have no idea if I know them in real life), walking down the same road, but going the opposite way. I realized the girl, whose face I remember, had left her video camera with me. I wasn't sure what to do, because I didn't have her phone number, and i couldn't remember her name, so I couldn't message her on facebook. I asked the girl with her dog next to me, what I should do, but she didn't know either. As I was deep in thought as to how to get her camera back to her, we started to walk through a tunnel, and
the next thing I remember is being in the car with my mom, and we are driving through the park the next afternoon as we're leaving. The water was still pitch black even though it was was sunny. Instead of heading toward the water, we turned onto the left street. As we were just leaving the park, I looked out, and saw a plane. For some reason, a guy on stilts was getting the luggage out of the plane. Near him, many stalls were set up in small white tents. As my mom and I passed there, and got to the exit gate, I woke up.

...........

The dream was long, and the water scene was the shortest part, but it was what left me remembering everything. It left that anxious feeling in my heart and throat even after I woke up. I don't know what to make of it.
