      Help - Baby dream/reality?!

      Hello

This is my first post here and apologies if it's long/fragmented but I'm not sure how to get it all down. First I'll explain the most recent dreams and what prompted me to post...

Basically I've had a very complicated situation with a man I work with for nearly 2 years. I'm still in love with him and I'm sure he still feels something for me. It'd take nearly 2 years to go into it all and I don't know if it's important or not so for now I'll leave it at that. Last year I had dreams for a month solid that me and him would have a baby girl and they were always ridiculously real dreams. One dream was us on holiday with our baby girl and his (already existing) son and I distinctly remember he was 36 in the dream. He was 34 at the time, and just 35 now.

Then despite a lot of rubbish happening and us not speaking the gut feeling about him and the dreams never went away.

Anyway, this past month I've been having the baby girl dreams and this absolute certainty that I'll be pregnant this time next year with this man's baby. Things are still very strange with him so I don't know where this is coming from but I am absolutely certain in my gut, which sounds ridiculous. Then yesterday I started my period....I'm on the pill, one which stops my periods completely...I've been on it for 7 years, 3 years on no periods, 6 month break, a normal period every month, then nothing in the last 2 years until yesterday. This is *extremely* odd for me, as in all that time I've never even had spotting. There's lots more signs but they aren't in dreams so I don't know if I should post but it all seems way more than just a simple coincidence...even if it's just down to timing

I feel crazy posting all that!

I was actually looking at some Precognitive dream examples at youtube. And this one might be very suitable for you to watch, since she also had a baby dream wich turned out to be true. I didn't watch the whole video, but it seemed legit in my opinion. So here it is if you feel like watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIyU-5AsBYs

It might sound "crazy" but everything you tell here, that dream sounds to much like a precognitive dream to me. Do you mind if I ask you if you would be happy if this turn out to be a true dream?

Another thing, the gut feeling is probably the most reliable thing to trust I would say. But not every one might agree with that. At least I have found it true for myself.

Thanks for the reply and the link, I will watch it in a minute.

I don't mind you asking at all, yes I would be happy. Circumstances are far from ideal but in the dreams once I've had her I'm always very happy

I always trust my gut and 99% of the time I'm right. The most recent being my pregnant friend being told she was having a boy and due on July 29th. She was certain it was a boy too. I told her it was a girl and born July 19th. She had a baby girl at 5am on July 20th, so 5 hours out wasn't a bad prediction! But because this situation is about me and I want it o much I get scared it's wishful thinking...but then if that were the case I would dream about him every night and live happily ever after, not these specific dreams with dates/times/ages and the bizarre vivid/reality...They feel completely different to normal dreams and sometimes I'm actually more tired after having them as they are 'real time' so it's like I've not slept

Other baby signs include things like the fact I'm entering a competition later in the year and had an email a couple of days ago from one of the organisers asking me by name, so it wasn't meant for someone else and sent mistakenly, if I was entering the Mummy category....We have had numerous conversations about the class I'm actually entering and it said directly below on the chain of emails what category I was in so that was very strange indeed.

I also had a dream last Monday that I had my baby and walked into the other room in my house and my uncle asked to hold her. My uncle and I aren't particularly close so that was a new odd element to the dream. The next day he was speaking with my mum and completely out of the blue asked my mum if she was expecting any grandchildren from me anytime soon...again, this was completely out of character and even he said himself he wasn't quite sure why he came out with that

My friend was trying to convince me that all of these things are just coincidences but it's the *timing* of them all, and especially the first period in 6/7 years....it all just feels like it has to mean something...but I also don't want to be deluding myself as I want it to be true??

Your welcome! Since you would be happy with that dream to come true. Then that's awesome!

I think that there will always be people who say that all dreams are just coincidences, but that is really of no help what so ever. Unless, the person who have a dream worries to much about the dream of cource. And to just believing in dream as coincidences is of course not a wrong thing to do or say. Because in the end, it's just a matter of different believes.

Well your "coincidences" seems to support your dreams a little to much to just let it all to be ignored, I would say. So I totally agree with you that all the timing is a bit to perfect for it to be looked on as just a coincidences. I would recommend you to keep looking for your dreams that stands out from your normal dreaming. And simply see what happens. because what ever happens in your life. The dream could turn out to be a good way to be a little bit more prepared for whats coming, if some of your dreams turn out to be a precognitive dream. That would simply give you a little more edge in life than just ignoring it all.

So I hope you get the success to fulfill this baby-dream of yours. At least it should support your confidence a bit, to make it happen in real life. And who knows, maybe that's the purpose of this dream as well?

      Hello Scorpion121,

You're so much like me in some ways. It happened to me twice that i saw babies in my dreams. My father's close friend has 2 sons and a daughter. I'm not very close to their family. But when the elder son's wife was expecting, which i kind of didn't know about, i had a dream in which there was a baby playing at my house, with the face like that of the younger son. It was a baby boy. And well, within a week, they had a baby boy who looked exactly like his younger brother!
Next, i dreamt the daughter at a party thrown for the new born baby that she was holding. That baby in my dream i knew it was not a boy. She had a girl two weeks later.
They're not so close actually.. it was really random...or maybe there are some childhood memories which connects me with this family.

Anyhow, the difficult thing is i had a dream in which i saw a baby on a bed next to my sister and mother. I thought this couldn't be my sister's son. He doesn't look like this. The next moment, her son came into the room. I saw he had drooping, chubby cheeks and a bit dark complexion. My mother and sister looked like they were tolerating the kid! I shouldn't expect anything more out of them even in real life. Then i came into the room looking thin and wearing an over sized dress... that's when i realised it was my baby. I looked tired and not at peace, as usual.
Few days later, my father introduced me to a man who looked just like that baby. Same drooping cheeks and complexion. It was good to talk to him. But a million things came in between. I changed my mind a hundred times. I went out with him on a date. I was ok that day. But next day i was getting all rude and angry and anxious.
It's been more than a year when i saw that dream. We talk sometimes. But i really don't have it in my heart to face this future i saw in the dream. Because i looked so sad in it!

Hope you found any similarities in our dreams !

      Hi,
Well that's some very interesting experiences you're having. My perspective on dreams is different than many others. It's been my own experience that we do sometimes give ourselves a precognitive dream of a probable future. However, I've found, that most of my dreams and that of others use these emotional type feelings and experiences as a way for us to actually recall the dream. Then we are left trying to puzzle it out. Literally interpreting the dream, has been in my own experience, not that useful.

If you'd like to check me out, you can read some of the interpretations I've done on this board. You can also visit a free website I created a year and a half ago Learning From My Dreams | Dream Interpretation – Learning. There you'll find the 10 things I learnt from my dreams, a dream discussion paper, a story I created to describe the multiverse we live in, a rich resource site and also a section devoted to different meditation techniques.

If, after reading this, you'd like me to assist you, then here's what I'd like you to do. Choose two different dreams that really stick out to you. Then for each one of them...

What I've learnt from my own dreams is that there is nothing in a dream by chance. Therefore, if you answer the following questions, to the best of your recall ability, I will happily give you an interpretation of your dream as if it was mine.

First tell me the number of scenes in your dream. THEN FOR EACH SCENE I want you to tell me the following:

      Location:
I want you to look in your mind, as the observer, in the following directions and tell me what you see:
      1. To your left.
      2. To your right.
      3. In front of you.
      4. Behind you.
      5. Above you.
      6. Below you.

It’s all right if you can’t recall much. Simply tell me what you see and make sure I know what direction it is from you the dreamer. In my interpretation, you’ll see how this is a symbol itself.

When you are describing what you see, tell me in as much detail as you can recall about it. So things I am very interested in is what are walls, doors, windows, stairs, tables, etc. made of, age/style, colour, etc. The same goes for anything outside. You’ll see in my interpretations how all of this tells us lots about ourselves.

      Lighting:
      1. Tell me what the lighting was like, i.e. bright, dull, black, cloudy etc.
      2. Then tell me where the light was coming from.
      3. Can you tell the time of day or season?
Lighting is important in a dream because it’s a symbol of vibrational state. I’ll explain this during my interpretation for you.

      Objects:
If there are any objects in a dream scene, then tell me about them as follows:
      1. Shape, size, colour and what they were made of.
      2. Where the object is in the dream relative to you, i.e. left, right, etc.

I’ve found objects in dreams are usually symbols of things we first need to concentrate on spiritually. I’ll explain this in the interpretation if you had any objects in any of the scenes.

      People:
For each person in a dream scene I want you to do the following:
      1. Describe them to me in as much detail as you can recall. This includes age, gender, clothes, colour of the clothes, what the clothes were made of.
      2. Tell me where they were in the dream scene relative to you, i.e. left, right, below, etc.
      3. Tell me if they were lying down, sitting, standing, walking, etc.
      4. Tell me what they did with you. Don’t skip the details. Simply tell me exactly what happened.
      5. If there are any conversations or thoughts between you and the person or others, then tell me EXACTLY WHAT WAS SAID. This is important.
      6. If there were others you couldn’t see but felt, then let me know where you felt they were in a scene relative to you the dreamer, i.e. left, right, etc.
      7. For people who you know in real life, tell me anything that's different about them in the dream versus the real life version.

      Animals. Etc.:
If there were any animals, insects, birds, reptiles, fish or whatever in any of the scenes, then tell me. Describe them in as great as detail as you can recall. Also let me know where they were in the dream scene relative to you, i.e. left, right, etc. Then let me know of any thoughts that passed between you and them.

      Thoughts/Feelings:
This is a very important part of every dream scene. Take your time, go back and tell me the following for each scene:
      1. What was your first thought/feeling as the dream scene began.
      2. Tell me of any thoughts/feeling changes as the dream scene progressed and let me know where in the scene this occurred.
      3. Tell me your last thought/feeling as the dream ended.

I realize this is a lot of work. HOWEVER, I think you might be surprised by how much you can learn about yourself from a single scene.

      With kind regards,
      Guy
