Absolutely nothing to worry about. Most dreams are just random, made up from bits and pieces of day residue, which is why we often dream about people and places we know. Bizarre ridiculous stuff happens all the time in dreams, it doesn't mean anything. The only way it could cause a problem is if you tell her about it..

Agree. I don't understand why people are always trying to interpret dreams and find something true in them. That's silly. Last night I dreamed of riding a blue goat with Obama, hmmmm, what does that mean?

Thirded. We often have romantic dreams about people we have absolutely no conscious interest in. The more you become familiar with your dreams, the easier it will be to shrug off episodes like this that seem disturbing. As Darkmatters says, there is really nothing to them. Feel better, and go spend some time with your girlfriend!

I agree that the majority of dreams are nonsense and that people have a tendency to try to read too much into them, but there are definitely times when they can tell us important things. That's mostly when we're in denial of something or just haven't quite consciously figured something out that the subconscious already has. As Jung said, dreams are often a correction of some consciously held attitude. I also believe they sometimes show us things inverted or twisted in some way to help us rethink things at important times. It's a good idea in times of crisis to pay attention to your dreams.

Try substituting different terms for the first word - you'll get it. Especially keeping in mind it was a sex dream..
